Can anyone confirm if my IPMA is already pre wired?
I installed all of the hardware but when I did the FORScan portion, Pre-collision assist was malfunction and I could not even use regular cruise control. Im not certain if where I’m messing up.
I’ll try again tonight if the wiring is correct.

I cant remember exactly from when i did mine but looks like it… did you calibrate the ccm via forscan and drive around?

I drove around last night but did not calibrate because I forgot. However, I’m not certain if that would have caused the pre-collision assist fault along with regular cruise not working.

I just tried again 10 minutes ago. I entered the ABS and APIM data with no issues. However when I changed the BCM field from 88 to 90, the pre-collision assist fault came up again. I don’t know if 90 is the correct value for my powerboost since it’s both gas and electric.

From Livinitup’s spreadsheet I think I need to enter “190” for gas/HEV with stop and go. I was going to try entering “190” but realized I don’t know how to enter a 3 digit number into a 2 digit field.

I was hoping I could troubleshoot some of the codes and leave everything as us, but we have a 12 hour drive tomorrow evening to Alabama from KC. Unfortunately I at least need normal cruise control.

Im pretty sure it will throw an error code until it is calibrated. Again its been 2 years since i did mine (22 xlt 5.0) but should be the same. Worse comes to worse as long as you saved the file from before the changes just revert to the original for tomorrow to have cruise.

Hi all! I did the ACC mod on my '21 Lariat PB today, and it's freaking amazing! I don’t have the 360 camera or tow tech package, but all the required wiring was already there from the factory. I went over this post thoroughly and, purchased the CCM module, three screws, the harness, and the steering switch.

Thanks for the detailed instructions, @superfordman and @Jesse-Infotainment , for exploring this upgrade! The install took me about four hours, plus another 30 minutes for the FORScan changes. It worked like a charm on the first attempt, and the ACC and Lane Keep kicked on the drive back as soon as the calibration was complete.

Thanks again!

Did you check if the sensor is level before calibrating ?

BCM field is 90, thats what I have on my PB. With the new forscan changes the pre-collision assist function is performed by the radar module and will go away as soon as you calibrate it.

Download a level app on your phone and check if the radar module is level vertically and try calibrating again.

Note - stay b/w 35 and 50 with a car infront to calibrate quickly. Also the progress bar sits at 99% forever before completing.

Good luck

So my truck came with ACC, but I've had to relocate it after getting an aftermarket bumper. I get that "Collision Assist Unavailable" and cannot use cruise control or ACC. Thought I'd be able to just connect to FORscan and run the calibration procedure. But I cant even find the CCM...thoughts anyone?

I was finally able to get this resolved. I had several unfinished lines in FORScan. Once I did that, everything lined up.
I even managed to finally shut off the garbage truck beeping in reverse.

Hey everyone, it looks like I am not pre wired in my 401A tremor without 360cams.

What is my path forward now? I’m hella confused on what wiring I actually need to make/do?

Is it only from the IPMA in the headliner to this connection that needs to be done?

You can buy the pin/contacts and make up your own cable as well, it has to run from the IPMA to the radar unit in the front bumper

Also believe Jesse makes up the harness for this but confirm with him

I ordered the stuff to try this on my 2024 XLT. Not a lot of info on anyone trying this on a 2024 yet, but it seems everything is the same other than a revision change to the CCM. Will definitely report back once my parts arrive and start digging in.

Did they even hook the CCM back up then?? Maybe not if it isn't found in the module list.

You would need to run wires straight from the IPMA connector to the CCM in the front bumper then. Nothing in these trucks goes to the headliner besides the actual camera coax, that is older trucks and different models.

Ya, good luck but should be no different. Not much interest/traction on 24+ models as so many come with it standard now besides XLs and low trim XLTs.

I figured it out, the bull bar was actually blocking the ACC sensor, so I moved it higher. No problems now! I my needed to drive a couple days to recalibrate
