2025+ F-150 Auto Start Stop: Can this be disabled via 4D tech or similar dongle?

I have a 2025 F150 XL on order and i know they removed the physical button above the touchscreen. Can you still disable is with the 4D tech dongle?

As far as I know on 24+ the Forscan way of disabling is not working the same as previous, this thread appears to show people having success with the 4D dongle working on 24s.

No luck with FORSCAN but my 4D Tech Start/Stop Eliminator works great!

I did use FORSCAN to tun off the "OFF" light on the button on the dash...but it will not actually disable the function.

I recently took delivery of a 2025 F150 Platinum. The first mod I did was the 4D dongle. Works perfectly, and is the easiest brand to install.

My 4DTech works great in my 2021. It is plug and play and easy to get to. In my truck it reverses the switch on the dash. When I start it is in the start stop is in the off position. In order to use start/stop I must push the button every time I start the truck to turn on Start/Stop. The lazy man's way to deactivate it.

Pop a couple of panels off and it plugs right in. First panel to pop out is the package tray on top of the dashboard in the middle. While you are at it you might as well add the hardware kit that Ram makes for that tray you pull out. Ram Is, I think, the one that sells the tray and the equipment specifically for the f150 that goes there. There are two ways to install it. One is very secure and the other is marginal. It will be clear in the instructions.

The sight itself has very clear installation instructions.

I installed a phone that hangs over to the left of the dash that is low enough it does not interfere with my line of sight. You can mount laptops and no telling what other laptops with the 1" ball accessories.

There are others on this thread that can likely do a better job than me of explaining this. I have a 2021 F150 Lariat.

It is best to call them first. They know exactly what fits and probably have the product that works.

I disable my AS/S by pushing the button after I start the truck. Cheap and easy.

They didn’t REMOVE the physical button as far as I know in the ‘25s, despite some thus far false posts speculating they did this. They MOVED it down by the lights knob near driver’s left knee.

I found the solution to disable it on my 24 just did a little research. Go in bcm to code 726-07-02 and edit value to xxxx-x0xx-xxxx and this disables ford smart charging and keeps auto start stop disabled.

Question for you...to your knowlege, does disabling smart charge present any issues? I have a 24 3.5EB. Not really sure what "smart charge" means.
