I purchased a 2024 back in October. My first update got pushed out Feb 20. So there is a chance there just wasn't an update that was appropriate for your truck yet.

On my 22 it’s very random. Really no set schedule.
I've received 21 OTA updates for my May 2022 build Lariat and the notable pattern is I've received no updates between mid-May and Mid-September in any of the three years since build (!?).

For me at least, it's like the OTA folks take the summer off, lol.

YMMV.

Just a little information.... OTA'S are sent via cell connection and not WiFi. A good cell signal is all you can do.

Now you wait for the Ford servers to send an update like may of us do. My last OTA was April 2024.

That's not accurate. Only "some" updates can be sent over cellular data. Wi-Fi is the preferred connectivity method for OTA's and some updates can only be received via Wi-Fi. The below screenshots are from the Ford OTA Update FAQ's

I've received a few updates for my '22. I don't know the exact number. I am convinced of this though: I have not really noticed any significant change in my truck after any of the updates. As such I think the whole OTA thing is pointless and a sham. I want my BlueCruise updated. I don't believe for a second it'll ever happen.

Check with other members on this forum, to my knowledge, there has never been an OTA sent via wifi. If you're using FDRS, then you use wifi to connect to the internet and Ford servers.

All of my OTA updates have occurred while my truck is connected to my home WiFi, how would I know whether an update was received via my WiFi or the onboard cellular modem?

This is my understanding ....

You need to look at how much traffic was on your home wifi to your truck. There have been threads on here, back in late 2021 and early 2022, where members monitored their wifi traffic when trucks were updated, there was little or no wifi traffic to the trucks. Many members have been away from their home wifi when they get an OTA. One member, not every time but when he did get an OTA, he was at Walmart. Ford states Wifi, but that has not been the case.

Need to check your state of charge. If the battery is too low I believe updates don't happen. I think thats happening to mine right now, I was receiving updates for awhile and now they have stopped, but the truck sat for a while while on vacation. Lately I have got the Ford F-150 Saved message popping up.

In 3 years I haven't seen wifi used for a single update. All done via OTA cell including APIMs which are now 6GB in size

Even tho my last OTA was last April, all have been by cell connection since I picked the truck up in May of 2021.

I get about one every six months on my 2021 Lariat.
I pestered Ford Customer Service a lot trying to get Bluecruise activated and I think they blacklisted me!?
