How do you install manually, is Forscan needed?

No, what I mean by that is to check for updates in the touchscreen and use the "install now" option instead of setting auto-updates for a certain time. You want to do it as soon as you park the truck when the battery is nice and charged up as opposed to letting it sit for hours allowing the SoC to drop.

It's getting to be about 6 months since I went through FDRS and did my updates. If you could please check current status, that would be appreciated.

Modules with pending updates are below. The GWM you see there should release the latest APIM update for you.

Thank you! I will grab a license and get these done. Last time I looked, there was a blocker on doing the BCM update via FDRS unless you had credentials, is that still the case?

I tried that and it says “no update available “. Install now is grayed out. I guess I’ll wait until it’s sent again.

It has been a good while since I received any updates. App says last update was 10/20/2023. Had no issues before that. Believe I have a software issue affecting passenger blind spot indicator. Can the current status be checked and possibly why I haven’t received any? Thanks!

Truck is on Sync 23291 which is one version behind the latest and connectivity is working fine. You do show a GWM pending, so the update needed to progress through the process is there. Truck is fine.....just crappy luck with the OTA process.

Please also remove your VIN. You received an OTA for the HVAC module recently. Your truck is on the latest Sync version and only shows some ancillary modules with pending updates. Your truck is not behind at all. Nothing to be worried about here.

You were sent a GWM update on 1/29, but it timed out because your truck never pinged to server back to accept it. No active OTA in queue at this time, so if you are seeing a message about an update right now, you can ignore it. What you posted is a notification of the last update that went through and not that you have one trying to go through now.
