Heated Seats and Steering Wheel not working with remote start

Has anyone else noticed that their heated seats and steering wheel have stopped working recently after an over the air update? Only does this when remote starting either thru the app or remote. I’ve had this feature on a bunch of F150’s, and took my truck to the dealer and they said they can’t find any fault codes so they can’t do anything. Anyone ever had this issue and what was done to fix it?

Yeah a number of folks reported this issue after a recent update. Hopefully, a future update will correct it.

Ford has broken it w/ an OTA on some trucks. There's nothing the dealer can do. They occasionally break things with OTAs and will eventually fix them. So long as it doesn't brick the truck, it's a minor inconvenience. I think it impacts both auto and last setting

I bought mine 2/22/25 and couldn't get seats and wheel to come on with remote start. I thought it was me with new options. Saw the update 3/1 and hoped it would fix it, but no luck. I've tried all the combos with no results. Cab heat does work at least. I'm going to turn off auto updates if next one fixes it. Frustrating when my 2011 and 2018 worked as designed.

The updates can be finicky!

Last update I did almost a week ago reverted all my gauges/measurements to Metric. I also discovered (noticed yesterday) it also deleted "My View", so I'll have to set that up again.

They are always cryptic in their explanations so you never know. This last one was supposed to improve connectivity. That obviously failed. Fix one thing break two...

The OTA update caused the issue, but you can go into FordPass and turn the heated seats and wheel on from there to get it working. You can also adjust the HVAC temp from the app.

Thanks. I just tried and screen comes up with "connected services" after truck started. I'll try deleting app and reinstalling. Went to dealer a few weeks ago and said it wasn't warming seats or wheel. She said it's not suppose to. I said so what's the use of having it and naturally shrugged her shoulders. I hate incompetent people in service positions!!

Should've asked for manager to point out her mistake. She certainly wasn't trying to be helpful. They forget they are in "customer service".
