Hi, have a pretty long road trip (2000kms) tomorrow in my 2021 Lariat with 50,000km on it.

Worth it to buy a fuel additive on this tank for this extended highway trip? Thanks!

I would just fill up your tank with a top tier gas brand. I go to Costco for it. I don't believe any other additives would make a positive difference in my experience.
Yeah I’m a shell guy. 87 normally and 93 once a month.

Because it has the highest amount of PEA of any fuel system cleaner. It’s kind of expensive but it works. I don’t know if you’ve read any of the posts about folks complaining about idle quality in the current GEN 3.5 eco-boost but I ran a bottle of this when I got the truck six months ago and my idle has been perfect since. As a previous RAM owner Redline products are almost a cult following on the Ramforum.

Seafoam. A tank might last me a month or more, and I know it's not a long time and I only run top tier 91 octane w/no ethanol. It helps keep any build-up on the injectors and has a general cleaning function. One can every 2-3 fill-ups can't hurt either.

I have always used Techron but from what was previously stated I just ordered Redline Si-1 on Amazon to try it out.

+1 for the Amsoil P.i.

Surprised nobody mentioned BG44K though. I put 1 can in a tank of gas once a year in each vehicle... Definitely helps with idle quality and maybe a very slight MPG difference
