Looking for a bit of help from the masses.

I ordered a 2025 Lariat and am still awaiting a VIN. However, I spotted a truck that is the clone to the one I ordered and I see there is am interesting price difference for what I am thinking is the same thing. The Lariat Package 502A for the 2025 is 7725.00 and the 502A for the 2024 is 5055.00. Am I missing something? is it the same, exact package the model year difference is 2670.00. Please tell me I am missing a glaring difference in something more I am getting in the 2025. If there isn't any difference, I guess the search is on for a 2024. Thanks.

Thanks. The 2024 has 1.9 for 60, so that's another plus.

A couple months ago I priced out a 502A on model year 24 vs 25 and the 25 came in about 4k more expensive. Same exact options with PB . 76k and the 2025 came in 80k

I missed a few earlier and I know there is more but in 2024 you get leather seats. In 2025, you get "Active X" (synthetic leather). Also, for the 502A package, you get the B&O stereo with 18 speakers in the 2024 and only 14 in the 2025. Another oddity that I saw was ambient lighting. In 2024 the ambient lighting came standard on all Lariats but in 2025 ambient lighting only comes on 502A Lariats.

In short, I cannot think of a single gain in buying a 2025 over a 2024. Yeah, a 2025 will bring slightly more in a future trade and maybe that's the only advantage but even that is marginal considering the increase of price on a 2025 vs. a 2024. This one advantage may be eliminated depending on what interest rate you can get on a 2024 compared to a 2025 model.
Combined with the loss of standard items or loss of items in certain option packages, I'd say the 2024 is the best buy.
Good luck!

Edit:
And another thing...dealers will come off sticker quite a bit right now for a 2024 but I'd bet they won't budge on a 2025 window sticker. Granger and a few other offer excellent pricing on orders but at a local dealer, I'd be looking at a 2024.

I've a 502A '24 Lariat and the B&O Unleashed is 14 speakers not 18. My '22 had 18 and I honestly think the 14 is better sounding.

Note: on MY25 502A you get a $2000 502A package discount that brings the 7725.00 to 5725.00 (compared to MY24 5055.00) if my math checks out.

I tried building out a 25 Lariat and I literally cannot build the truck I want anymore.

Ford is cutting features and raising prices to the point I guess I’ll just stick with my ‘21 until the wheels fall off.

I've a factory order 2022 5.0 with the last 500A Package, no stop start and leather air cooled and heated seats. This is the last of the good deals and my last F150.

Old Indian saying bird in hand worth more than 20 in the bush.

Personally would get my ducks in a row and go after the 24.

In 60 months being a 24 VS a 25 isn't going to matter very much.

Insurance may be more affordable on a 24 VS a 25.

The present 22 is a my spec truck only because of limited vehicles on dealers lots back in 21/22.
All others, 16 501a, 18 502a, 19 701a and 21 XLT PB were on the lot trucks at discount prices. Yes was in a place to trade and have X Plan pricing so drive em and trade em was norm and left about 12K miles and a year warranty for the next owner.

Of all the 18 502a was the one to keep other than the fact here in Wisconsin the darn 13 gen doors kept freezing up and FORD dealerships just didn't have the parts or correct procedures to fix the issue. That is the reason for a 14 gen vehicle that is driven and taken car in the same manner with no frozen doors.

Now at 71 my 60's man-opause is over and gone this 22 is a keeper.

I hear you, loud and crystal clear, man.

My '23 XLT will never be replicated with any current 24/25MY options, they fall way short. Not many people like the "Gucci" look of a Platinum/King Ranch, nor willing to spend more to get these missing options. FORD isn't listening to its customers.
