They don’t but it’s likely for USA made goods to raise their prices ~$1 less than the import, so still cheaper but now match the newly created ceilingTariffs don't effect made in USA

Well I suggest we start making all parts in USA and the moco stop buying cheep electronics from China and Taiwan and start supporting our country.correct, but depending on brand, trucks are only assembled in USA. Components come from all over the world.
Intel is struggling to get up to speed and find employees for their AZ factoryWell I suggest we start making all parts in USA and the moco stop buying cheep electronics from China and Taiwan and start supporting our country.
People will not want to pay the prices to have everything made 100% here. You think prices are high now, just wait. It's going to get a lot worse.Well I suggest we start making all parts in USA and the moco stop buying cheep electronics from China and Taiwan and start supporting our country.
There's a lot more people wanting to buy a midrange 1/2 ton pickup than there are Corvettes. I may see 1 Corvette a week on average. I can look outside now and see 10 midrange pickups.Either way, the fact that a corvette can be had for less than the price of a midrange 1/2 ton pickup truck is amazing to me.
Most GM and FORD Trucks/SUV parts are made in MEXICO!Add the Union workers recent hard-fought pay bump to supply chain, inflation and all the other aspects contributing to skyrocketing costs.
Hang onto your boxers if tariffs are put into place: an XL for $80K.
Well, they're either making a ton of $$$ or you're about to bail them out again. Either way, they're making money. So it follows that Ford, GM and Stellantis must at all time highs both in stock price and dividend yield due to their massive margin expansion. I invite folks to spend 5 minutes with Google to test that hypothesis.
Show me something that is completely made in the U.S. - doesn’t exist, certainly not vehicles.Tariffs don't effect made in USA
Are you ready for the era of $2000 smart phones? $10 avocados? $100k midrange trucks?Well I suggest we start making all parts in USA and the moco stop buying cheep electronics from China and Taiwan and start supporting our country.
Not to mention, to make significant profit gains with US-made products you'd have to pay your employees ridiculous shit pay, as in below any paytable standard.Show me something that is completely made in the U.S. - doesn’t exist, certainly not vehicles.
Second, tariffs DO indirectly impact prices for domestic products because a domestic producer will ALWAYS raise his price to sit just below the tariff adjusted price of the imported competition. In other words, tariffs function as a sort of price protection scheme for domestic products.
Are you pissed because your Girl didn't win the election..............you'l get over it.Are you ready for the era of $2000 smart phones? $10 avocados? $100k midrange trucks?
Protectionist trade policies have NEVER worked. The fact is that we live in a global economy.
Nobody's pulling political punches here, guy.Are you pissed because your Girl didn't win the election..............you'l get over it.
First, your comment is completely out of line. Besides being highly offensive, politics has NO place in a forum like this. Are you pissed because your Girl didn't win the election..............you'l get over it.
