Traded my 22 for a 24.

Loved my 22 3.5 ECO only reason I did this was because of the powerboost. Work and play in remote areas where I need power was big selling point.
Couple of notes. Both 502A 4x4 both pretty loaded biggest difference is the eco vs pb. 22 was 67k and 24 is76k. Cmon ford!
steering wheel and shifter on 24 is noticeably thinner. No more trailer brake control on my 502a model maybe comes with towing package ? Also I know no more bed camera. This thing is a pig lol 6070lbs. And payload is 1338. Now to figure out if someone actually makes an Avalanche wrap or should I just paint my bumpers. Thoughts welcome! Goodbye iconic silver.

Wise move not getting tow package on the PB -- you can add the TBC for $250 or so. Just free $ going to ford otherwise. Does it have heated wheel or no? Should be quite an upgrade going to PB from just the 3.5 especially w/ the PBs 3.73.

Yep sadly the 157 crew gets shafted more and more each year , had no choice but chrome. So ill look at painting , as there is no clear wrap that matches it. Yes to heated steering too.

My '21 Platinum 157" has color matched bumpers and sweet chrome PVD wheels. ?

Shadow? Which lighting setup: projector or reflector? My 22 projectors (Adaptive enabled), are the best headlights I've ever encountered. But then again, there is no clear demarcation between low and high.

Yes! I recently traded my 22 for a 24 and that was the first thing I noticed at night. 2nd thing was the slow ramp up to the brights instead of a SNAP to bright, like my 22 had.

Not a chrome guy myself but I think I'd leave the chrome bumpers since you have so much chrome on the rest of the truck.

Projector. I have the 502a high. Light output is decent, but there is a gap between the beam pattern on the high and low beams causing a “shadow” between the light outputs. It drives me nuts.

I am putting in some Rigid fog lights that will fill in and flood out the low beams, so hopefully that will fix the issue.

I may order a refresh truck as I like the new platinum interior refresh. Stupid ford making the long bed in lariat only available with chrome…

did you enable the adaptive? Standard in Canada, but enabled by Forscan in the USA. The difference is breathtaking! incidentally, they have eliminated adaptive headlamps in 2024. Cost cutting measures I assume!

Unfortunately the 157 ONLY come in Chrome everything when you DONT go Platinum model . Only the Plat 157 comes with painted bumpbers.
