This is a great thread for getting to know the forum members better and find out more about how we ended up with our vehicles.
We're probably contributing to Ford's marketing demographics :)

I was a pediatric Respiratory Therapist for 15 years
Went to work for a variety of medical device (ventilators, IV infusion systems, spinal implants) and tissue products like stem cells doing post-market surveillance (failure investigation, risk management, process improvement, etc.) for 25+ years.

We got into taking our special daughter camping around 2016 and rented every possible rig type that could accommodate a non-ambulatory person. She died 3 years ago this month. She always had a great time...

We thought we should continue the RV travel, settled on travel trailer and '22 F-150 Powerboost. Since then my wife and I have traveled > 30K miles. I surely miss that girl. We always have a picture on the dash so she can go with us.

Problem Solver. I'm kind of like "The Wolf" from Pulp Fiction without dead bodies. I've been doing this for the past 30 yrs in government, military, academia, biotech, environmental protection, farming & cattle, elder care... There are always problems to solve and when folks would rather not get their hands dirty, there is me;-)
So a professional Hitman, got it!

40 years in the trade. Been thru 3 shop closures. Just hoping the dying art last until I retire.
Not to one-up you, but in addition to 38 years with one company I also worked for General Mills in- house printing for four years during and after high school. Two years part time during high school and two years full time after high school. I also survived multiple lay-offs and cut backs. I agree that printing is a dying trade. The digital world has insured this. Retire as soon as you can, there is nothing better than retirement.

well I feel like I have the lowest job on the totem pole here.. makes me feel bad to speak up at all as I do drafting / design work mostly electrical currently.. and I also bought mine used at 3 years old and 63% of msrp so that was a nice amount saved
Don't say 'lowest job on the totem pole.' Everyone in their own way has to contribute.

Forklift mechanic
I have worked for Ford at their Kentucky Truck Plant for the last 10 years. I started as a worker on the assembly line and drove a forklift for a couple years but for the past almost 5 years I’ve been an (Industrial truck mechanic). It’s a Skilled Trade that works on the forklift, tugs, MEWPs, personnel buggies and the safety lighting generators
The forklift operators drive them like they stole them so we are always busy.

That's a heart puller.
