Hi all,

I notice that stage 1 kits for the 2024 f150 are now using generation 6 blowers instead of generation 5. That's great news, though the power and torque ratings seem to be the same as the gen 5 kits had. Perhaps they were able to reduce boost slightly and make the same numbers with the more efficient gen 6 blower, or maybe there's just more headroom in the unit for further power increases later? I would not be surprised to find that the blower pulley diameter is slightly larger than it was on the gen 5 stage 1 kits. 3/36 powertrain warranty is still available, by the way.

Where do you see the 3Yr/36K warranty? Because I’m going to get a Whipple very soon and I was going to get the Ford Performance Gen 5 Stage 1 in order to be backed by Ford with the warranty. But I’d love to get the Gen 6 stage 1 if I can get the 3Yr/36K warranty.

The stage 1 warranty is provided by whipple, not ford. The warranty is available as an option on the stage 1 kit. And yes, I would go for the generation 6 kit.

Can the Gen 6 Stage 1 fit a 2023 Coyote?

I looked into a whipple for my 22 coyote.. 21,000 canadian pesos installed WITH a 2k discount from my dealer. We get absolutely hosed up here. Joyless country, Im jealous of you Americans.

More like (taken) Advantage (of) Ford. $5000 CAD for the install and "tune" and "program". LOL, it's literally an OBD2 flash provided by Whipple. What a scam.

I'm sure they'll be really nice to it on the test drive, too.

It's actually the best dealership I've ever been to. This is just what it's like living in canada. We get absolutely pummeled on exchange rates, duties and taxes.

I just spoke with Whipple and Grieco Ford of Fort Lauderdale FL today and after speaking to both it seems as if I can definitely order a Gen 6 stage 1 with the 3Yr/36k power train warranty from Whipple. Have it shipped to Grieco Ford. Have them do the 20 hr. install (For $4K plus tax. ?) and keep all of my FORD warranties intact. The only thing is that Whipple’s 3Yr/36k power train warranty would have to kick in god forbid my engine goes to poop ? due to the Gen 6 Whipple. Ford said as long as it’s a stage 1 with the provided tune from Whipple/Ford. I don’t plan on making any stage 2 upgrades at all. Not interested in track racing because this is my daily driver. I just love the idea of added HP. I currently have a 2023 Ford Rocky Ridge.

Yep! But hey it’s also a piece of mind knowing that I’ll only deal with Whipple and Ford. And all warranties will remain intact. Sometimes you have to pay that premium and not take any short cuts. Because god forbid anything goes wrong. I can tell Ford that THEY were the only ones to touch the vehicle. And I can tell Whipple the same exact thing.

100% agree with you. I had the dealer, who i ordered my truck from, install my roush supercharger for the same reasons as you. They charged about $3500 to do the install.

I had mine done earlier this summer. I had Lebanon Ford do the install. Just be aware, if you do want to go to the track and make some hits, your 102mph (or 100 whatever it is) is still intact with Stage 1. You can bump it up with a tune adjustment from Whipple but that voids the warranty. Kinda hard to run 1/4 mile times with a ~600HP sled limited to 100mph. Most of these trucks with Whipples running on the stock fuel system can get into the mid 11's with ~120ish mph through the traps pretty easy. Add a smaller pulley, bigger injectors and a new TB, you can get some pretty fast times out these bricks-

May not matter to a lot of you, but it may to some! I know I love mine. Adding a catch can tomorrow from UPR. And you will now run 5W-50 once installed.

Geez, that throttle body must be really loud to give up the power. I haven't heard one myself so I don't know.
It's not the volume of noise its the irritation that it's just off idle which is where you typically drive at 55mph. Drove me crazy on my 22 with the stage 2. I went with the stage 1R this time and at these power levels the stock throttle body will produce pretty much the same power.

Be sure to read the fine print on that whipple and ford warranties…last time I looked at it, it said you had to stay within +-10% of the factory tire size.
