Ok @Magician I went all in and ordered all the parts. Some from Ford (had points), some from Tasca, and a couple from Ebay that were backordered from Ford. The only thing I can't find anywhere is the right rear exhaust hanger HL3Z5260B. I added it to my Tasca order but I have a feeling they will email me and say it's on backorder. Will keep searching.

Levittownfordparts.com show them available but elsewhere they are all on back order. I’ll check my stash and see I have one of those.

Thank you! Yeah I feel like a lot of the web parts suppliers just list the part number but the availability/backorder is not in real time on their website. They just order it from Ford, then ship it to you. So chances are when they go to order it from Ford they will find they can't get it.

Alright,

So I am making progress on this swap, some things learned so far for me adding in 21-23 raptor caps and ordering a 21-23 F50 bumper support bracket.

- Frame Bolts- I had the HD tow package on my 24 (not max tow) - The 3 bumper bolts on the 24 that bolt it to the frame on each side are a bigger size that what was on the 21-24, so I had to bore out the holes on the new (lightly used) bumper reinforcement I ordered to accept the bolts.

- Step pad - the 21-23 Raptor caps on a standard 21-23 f150 reinforcement will accept the standard f150 step pad. so PN number ML3Z-17B807-DB can be used. Aka - if you have a 21-23 and want to add raptor caps, you can order 21-23 raptor caps and use your existing step pad.

My bumper is ready to be bolted on this weekend and I will see how the length of wiring is for everything. I am guessing I will be just fine for the lights, inside parking sensors and trailer harness, but will need to extend outside sensor wire lengths. Will follow up one I am complete!

Good deal thanks for the info. I will check the holes when I get my bumper off.
Right now I have accumulated all the parts, but the first muffler I ordered it turns out was not the right one. No Ford parts guy I have talked to can tell me which muffler is correct for a Powerboost with dual exhaust. For some reason when you search with a dual exhaust VIN there are 3 different mufflers listed but there appears to be no way to tell which is which, so I am ordering by trial and error. It is also possible that the forward resonator is different, but that also is unclear in the parts catalogs. In my case adapting a 2024 Platinum w/ the updated rear bumper has introduced a lot of variables and the updated parts are so new that the parts catalogs and knowledge base appears not to have caught up yet.

The 2024 single exhaust trucks have the updated bumper, but the 2024 dual exhaust trucks retain the older style bumper, so I am backdating everything including going to a Tremor hitch as the updated hitch cannot accept the dual exhaust painted bumper fascia.

It looks like Ford updated the rear bumper so the width of the step area matches the width of the ProAccess tailgate My truck (2024 Platinum) has the ProAccess tailgate delete option so does not matter cosmetically to backdate. Fun times so far but I will get it figured out.

There is no "HD TOW" -- Max tow includes the reinforced hitch. It's all or nothing. C4 hitch or C4 Max Tow.

Find a 23 truck with the BAP like a lariat powerboost. They include duals.

Something must have changed on the 24s where they increased the size/strength of the bolts that mound the frame to hitch, maybe across the board on all 24's. So either you will need to order the 3 bolts for each side from 21-23s, or bore out the holes to match the 24 bolts.

Likely just a bolt change. Given the duals still use the older style bumper I'm guessing you'd find their bolts to be the previous years size.

Alright got it installed, still have a few more things to work out though.

For 2024 - with the new step pad (21-23), the 24 license plate light housings will not work. I ordered some full led replacements off Amazon for 21-23s that goes in place of the housing instead of ordering the Ford ones.

2024 bumper harness - with the trailer plug moving in 24, the sensors on the passenger side will not reach. I have opted to lengthen the trailer plug harness instead of cutting and extending the sensor cables via a Curt extension harness meant for a goose neck bed harness run. I will just shorten it up a bit and plug that in underneath to give me more length, that way I will not modify the factory harness in any way.

I had wondered if the license plate light housings were different. Thanks for that. I will order some.

From looking under my 2024 it looks like I could cut open the harness tubing from the new RH trailer plug location and tease out/pull the wires for the trailer plug back towards the drivers side then tape it back up. (The wires go from Driver>>Passenger so it seems like this should work). If I did that would the passenger sensors reach? I guess to rephrase my question, will your passenger sensors not reach because of just moving the trailer plug over to the older driver's side position without modifying the harness?

I already ordered/have the 21-23 "three bolt" plates that attach to the hitch. Is that all I need to deal with the bolt difference in 24?

Yes I have used "dummy" VINs from 2022, 2023, and 2024 Powerboost with BAP trucks and they all still show 3 different muffler and resonator options. They even list the Raptor muffler, which definitely would not work as it's 2-in/2-out. It's an issue in Ford's parts database. Unfortunately the part number does not appear to be stamped on the muffler in any location you could see it on a 2024 truck if I could find one to look under. Can't find any photos of the mufflers online either. So trial and error it is...

Thanks!

I’ve pretty much got the entire harness positioned in the same location as before, and all the sensors reach just fine. However, that leaves the trailer plug about a foot away from where it needs to be now on the driver side. If I plugged it in as-is, the driver-side sensors and light would work, but the passenger-side sensors (both inside and out) and the light wouldn’t reach.

I considered pulling back the loom, but I wasn’t sure if the 7 wires would be easy to separate or if they’d be too intertwined with the others. So instead, I left it intact and ordered this and made it into a little jumper to extend it: https://a.co/d/3pu6xFp

I cut off the extra pigtail on the end that connects to the existing plug, heat-shrunk the ends, and shortened the whole harness. After hooking up the trailer, everything is working perfectly. This could be a solution if you can’t pull back the existing cables.

The only real hangups for me were the bolts, harness, and light housings, so you should be good to go!

Cool. I saw on Ebay someone sells plug and play extensions for the sensors. I think I saw it earlier in this thread. https://www.ebay.com/itm/254789735017

Ran into a new problem on the 2024 PB. I was test fitting parts and found that Ford welded this giant bar to the frame in front of the spare tire that does not appear to have been there in prior posts/photos I have seen in the 21-23 trucks. Maybe it's only on the 24 Powerboost. Seems it would protect the hybrid battery in a rear end collision. Anyhow this may be the dealbreaker on me doing this conversion as it blocks the area where the driver's side pipe comes through. I know you can get a 2024 Lariat Powerboost BAP that has dual exhaust. Maybe those don't have this bar, not sure. Super annoying.
