On earlier generations of the F150 you could just Unplug the the sensor at the underhood battery in the truck. But that was a much less sophisticated battery management system with far fewer roots into various aspects of the vehicles electronics.

I don't know if the BMS will go down quietly in these Gen14 trucks.

Cool. Strange, after making both changes and rebooting both modules, whenever I try setting any beosonic options it always puts the circle back into the middle. The top "equalizer" button also doesn't work. My Sync4 is rev 1049 ?‍

I have a 24 502a. I have enable the beosonic option and its seams to working for me(no chime issue). The only issue I had with the Apim was with the preset (I couldn't same them or change them) when using the value xxx8. I changed the value to xxx9 since my default value was xxx1

Thanks for that, but it wasn't my problem. I re-verified my changes and still any selection of the dot away from centre brings it back in a couple of seconds so no go for me. The double-tap surround/stereo toggle works though?. It's not an issue for me though as I leave the normal tone sliders at middle all the time.

I just updated the APIM to the latest version 24127. I noticed that the splash screen has been changed to a new style FORD logo.
But when I did load as built data to the new APIM version I lost this new logo.
Any idea how to get this new logo again? What I should change in the 7D0-03-01?

I upgraded tires and run higher pressure. My TPMS still shows preferred pressure at 35. Can I change that with Forescan to show 40 front and 42 rear? Thanks!

You can try changing in the BCM:

726-10-01	xxxx	xxxx	**--	PlacardFront_Cfg (PFC) • Psi = Hex2Dec(**) • Range: 0 - 255
726-10-02	**xx	xxxx	xx--	PlacardRear_Cfg (PRC) • Psi = Hex2Dec(**) • Range: 0 - 255

I would first work out what values are currently set to verify that these make sense to change. I do not know if these values will have any effect, or wether a TPMS reset/relearn is needed.

I have a 24. Is there any way to increase the time the running boards are extended out for? They close before I can get around the other side of the truck and open a door. I figure over time that’s extra usage that could be avoided.

Same thing bugged me and was the first thing I changed on mine. I played around with different times and I settled on changing this to 0B here in DSM: 744-31-01 0Bxx xxxx xx-- This should work on 2021-24s

Thank you very much!!!!! For this and all your work over the years. I will say I’m impressed with how many settings Ford incorporates now that we used to change with forscan.

Thanks for updating this. I can see there's a section including "Electric Park Brake Configuration"; do you know if any of those will make the parking brake always activate upon park?

I hate the roll that always happens after putting the truck in park.

That only specifies whether an electronic parking brake is installed; if disabled then that would indicate a manual parking brake is present. I haven't seen anything that would activate the parking brake any time the gear select is in Park.

I have a 2021 Powerboost and would like to enable the driver and passenger temp settings at the top of the Sync screen, currently, only on the knobs themselves. My friend has 2023, and this information is only at the top of the Sync screen. I can’t find the FORSan settings, so what am I missing?
