Sadly, I noticed how good the rear end looked with the coating. And then I realized there was a drain pan. ?
There is a whole thread where people sanded and resprayed the rear end. Not sure how well that holds up over years. I just used fluid film black. Still looks good year later.
Thanks. I realize you're protecting from deep rust, but is it really going to be an issue 10 years from now? It is more of a cosmetic thing for most?

That's the first thing I noticed ?. Depending on where that truck drives in the winter, it'll be rusty again. I've played that game.
It's really mostly cosmetic, I hated walking up my drive and seeing that rusty axle under a relatively new truck. I've seen 25 year old trucks completely rusted but not rusted through.

I actually did notice the drain, but I'm too new to the F150 that I wasn't completely confident. Haha...
