Install a camera and activate it with Forscan...

I'm assuming this can be done.
This, if you can do it, it will fill the void.

Look for the used parts from a broken grille and just put the camera in. Sure it won't function, but it also won't be a hole.

They likely won't do anything on the painted grill, but I think the OP should work with the dealer to get a discount on getting a camera added now. That seems like the only realistic resolution.

Any idea how much getting a camera added would cost? Dealer was the one who got the grill painted by their approved body shop, so that was kinda why I was hoping maybe something could be done on the grill, but if adding a camera is the cheaper and more realistic option…

Functioning? From the dealer? Considering it's 360 or nothing, probably $800-1k labor and about the same in parts after you sell your mirrors and buy paint-matched mirrors / 360 cams (or buy the parts for conversion -- easier on XLT and below than lariat+)

I’m supposed to be going back in a week or so to get new wheels and tires put on as well. Maybe at the very least I can get a discounted price on those

Me being stupid I'll ask. Why doesn't a lariat have a front camera? It has the bumper parking sensors. It just beeps when you get close to something? Something they did away with for that year?
My 2022 500A doesn't have front parking sensors. But they were standard on 302A and 501A for that year. No clue why Ford decided to make them optional/linked to some package for the base lariat that year.

I don't believe the dealer is in any way liable for a discount since OP is the one that had the part ordered and installed.

Absolutely. They have every right to tell him pound sand. I was just suggesting that he could certainly use it as a negotiation for discounted services on the camera install should he go that route.
