2024 King Ranch Tailgate

Just so everyone knows since Ford would not let you add the chrome package to the 2024 King Ranch i took it into my hands and added the chrome package myself. First i ordered the mirror skull caps from Ford and had them replace the painted ones. Got really nice snap on chrome door handles. But then the most important item was the tailgate applique that i orderd through ford parts for a 2023 King Ranch and had my friend who owns his bodyshop install it and it looks great and just a Big Shout Out To Travis from The Collision Center for making my King Ranch compelete. It just sets the whole Truck Off and i Believe making lt look really sharp.

Ok, he had to cut them off and shave any high spots. he did leave the black backing on. After it all was smooth he then applied 3m tape all along the outer edges and half way in the middle and any where else he thought it would work with out any bulging. Had to remove the King Ranch emblem from the lower left bottom but the FORD emblem was left on. It fits tight to the tailgate with no gap.

@Eddie2021 thanks for the information. Ordered. I can't do the tailgate applique because mine has the PAT. I figure the chrome mirror caps and my normal KING RANCH chrome letters will have to do. I'll make do with the painted door handles.

I like that new "step type" bumper you get without the dual exhaust. With an AMP research type step and this step and the PAT that would make getting into the bed even easier.

No they just do it. I ususally take one off the rear just haven't gotton around to it. Thanks

Ignore him, most of us do... I'm looking at the stark, huge beautiful applique that was applied.

Ignore who? It was a legitimate question. Maybe things have changed in 30 years, but back in the day when I got a new Escort the dealership put their logo on the back with paint and it was certainly not something that could be removed in minutes.

Bet it would look good. I have used this on my last two KRs and my prior Lariats. These letters lean to the right so I would get the Cloud - Chrome or Simple Style - Chrome, which are straight.
