The Antimatter Blue is darker than the pictures. On a cloudy day it is dark, when the sun shines it sparkles. I can't imagine that a local dealer wouldn't have an example on the lot to look at.

I have seen this. I have never towed anything and wondering what I would miss out if I did not have the tow package from a functionality perspective.
To tow most any RV trailer you'll need a trailer brake controller. You can either have it integrated and fully-wired by getting package 53T, or you can add one after-purchase either from Ford or aftermarket.

Personally, if contemplating ever towing with your XLT PB, I'd go with 53T from the factory and be done with it.

At $785 MSRP on the XLT PB (per retail website build-and-price) IMO it's well worth it against the already crazy-high overall purchase price (even with a great Granger deal). Having it will be a plus upon resale / trade.

I have the tow technology package for my PB, but not max tow. If that is not available anymore then whatever tow package is available is a must. The PB already has the heavy duty frame and 3.73 e-locker rear end, but you want the trailer brake controller stuff for sure.

Trailer brake controller only comes on the tow / haul package at $785.

This forum is filled with very knowledgeable buyers and owners.. It's really different than any other one out there. But it sounds like you are new to F-150's and trucks and towing in general but that's ok most of us were. First Granger is extremely well respected here. They have proven that over and over with literally hundreds of sales to posters here. There deal and process is second to NONE.. Simply you will get the best OTD price you possibly can get. Both truck and extended warranty. Some..not all.. dealerships will take advantage of a uninformed buyer and plain lie and deceive you both with the truck itself and your out the door price. The advice you got about being familiar with the order guide before committing to this much truck is good. Many salesman know less than you right now! Realize equipping for towing when you order is almost always cheeper and better than trying to add equipment after you buy it. Plus that configuration is usually bought TO tow..It's 7.2 K of built in capability restricts you getting other options and affects payload so you MUST be familiar with the order guide just to know what really is important to you. Lots of tradeoffs when you configure a build. For example towing a bass boat occasionally is a totally different thing from towing a 11,000 lb travel trailer.
I just researched a regular cab so I can't help you there but I can tell you Antimatter Blue looks almost black at times..

You’ve received plenty of good advice. The deals you are fretting over are incredible. I’m not buying the dang truck for you or donating to your go-fund-me page ?
Good luck ?

I would get the tow package even if you don’t plan on using it… better resale down the road …

Same with the 7.2kW PPoB and 4x4. Once you go heavy and complex with the PB, you have to go all the way. Someone can always get Katzkins for the seats.

Yes, you have asked a number of specific questions. Many of which would have been resolved through taking the time to research, both on this forum, Ford's website (specifically those related to F-150 features & build/price), and Google.

The best advise you've received on this thread thus far has been, "slow down". -- You're about to make an expensive investment that will affect your life for years. It is worth the time to do your due diligence. Any dealer/salesman that is pressuring you is trying to dig deeper into your wallet than necessary. If the pressure is self-inflicted, then if you cannot mitigate it, you will only increase it trading barbs and retorts in this venue.

Now, as to your questions:
1 - Read everything here: 2024 Ford F-150® Truck | Pricing, Photos, Specs & More | Ford.com
(That includes the subpages, eg: 2024 Ford F-150® XLT Truck | Model Details & Specs | Ford.com , on which (at the bottom) you will find an expandable tab providing great detail on what the various configurations of that particular trim level will be capable of in regard to HP/TQ/Payload/Towing/etc.
2 - Read this: 2024-Ford-F-150-Towing-Guide , paying attention to the footnotes to know what you need to equip to meet your (current and/or future) towing needs.
3 - Visit some RV sites to get an idea of what you might be towing in the future, then visit the manufacturer websites to determine weights & requirements related to towing.
4 - Expand your search for "samples" beyond just new car dealers, look at used dealers (eg: CarMax) and even AutoTrader to find individuals sells.

Finally, remember as a new member of this community, folks here don't know you. The manner in which you post and, *more importantly*, respond introduces you and forms the opinion the other members have of you, which directly influences how they respond to you.

Firstly Thank you for the links!!!

While I do appreciate what you have said I also want to clarify that 4 of the 5 questions I asked below would not have been addressed through the links provided as these have to do with subjective experiences of folks here. I have been very polite in all my responses except when a few have tried to be rude. You can evidence that as you scroll through the two pages.

Thanks for the links.

2. Does the antimatter blue color look like the beautiful blue on the website or is darker?

3. What is the average wait time?

4. Will NJ dealers honor the warranty from Iowa and is it a hassle getting registered in NJ?

5. Am I depreciating the car fairly soon by putting in 1200 miles as soon as I buy?

Not trying to be rude here but I don't really understand when people worry about a depreciable asset. We all know that (most) vehicles are not an investment and will lose value rather quickly. Too many care about resell before they have even taken delivery of such vehicle. Drive and enjoy your vehicle and don't worry about resell or depreciation. My two cents.
