Well...I had my 2014 towed to the dealership due to mass amounts of tranny fluid on the ground after it stop propelling me forward. Hopefully just a line or trans cooler but could have torpedoed the tranny.

That's usually the line to or from the transmission right on top of the QD just at the bottom of the radiator core support. The gen 1 ecoboosts had that issue. I may have left a pretty good blood trail with my 2013 while pulling my camper...

Installed the MegaOhm remote back up beeper delete AND linked it to the HomeLink, so it can be enabled, or disabled, from one of the HomeLink buttons.
Mine delivered Monday and I will probably install this weekend! I’m stoked for this mod.

Mine came with clear install instructions, including annotated pics.

Super easy, unless, well, small hands would be an advantage. Its tight where you have to remove and replace the electrical connectors.

I had to do it one handed and even then, not a lot of room. Listen for the "click".

retired!
Upon getting notice this morning from Ford Credit that I'm 2/3 paid-off on my $0 down / 0% APR / 36-month note (gee, 2 years, time flies!) I drove to a doctor's appt and ran errands thinking how very much I'm enjoying my Lariat!

It's the little pleasures and rewards, ya know! (y) ;) ?

I replaced the second failed Motorcraft H6 battery in the past 15 months with an Optima H7 battery engineered for deep cycle (deep discharge) use. I charged the Motorcraft H6 battery to 93% SOC and the following morning it was down to 44% SOC. Below 50% these batteries are damaged and their useful life is greatly shortened.

I will be parking beside my house so I can run an extension cord to a Schumacher battey maintainer which the Ford trucks need with their deficient BMS.

Many of us have found Motorcraft batteries lacking and the H6 size to be insufficient. Any other battery brand in larger size has cured all battery issues for many. No charger required unless you won't drive for a month.

Agreed with fordtruckman. Also, a deep cycle battery isn't really a good choice to replace an AGM starting battery with. If you park your truck with 93% soc and it's down to 44% in the morning you either have a parasitic draw, or a bad battery. The BMS keeps my H8 right around 80% unless I'm using power without the truck running. Then the lowest I have seen it was 65%, and it was back up to 75% in about 10 miles.
