Heated Steering Wheel Retrofit - updated with information

By chance does anyone have a picture of the steering wheel side of the SCCM connector and harness for the heated portion? My aftermarket steering wheel has a power, ground, and what looks to be two wires that go to a temperature probe. The steering wheel side of the SCCM looks to have 4 terminals as well, two large, and two small. I'm assuming the temperature probe wires go to the two small terminals and the power and ground go to the two large ones. Thanks!

Hopefully this pic helps. Let me know if you need any more and I’ll take them when I pull it all apart for the swap this weekend.

Thank you! That helps immensely. Is there a chance you could get pictures from all sides of the connector that shows the part number as well? Would make it a lot easier to track down. Also, any pictures you can get that show where the wires are going to inside the steering wheel grip (if anything) would be great. Just trying to make sure the aftermarket one is wired up similarly. I believe this is it but just want to verify:

Hey all! 83 pages, that's a lot to go through. I found the heated steering wheel a couple pages back and very cheap! I just signed on a 23 Lariat Shelby. No heated steering wheel. I have the temp knobs part with push button heated steering wheel that I'm taking back out of my 22 Platinum. The truck has a build number of 015, leading me to believe this is an earlier F150. Other than the steering wheel and temp control part, do you think the wires are there? What other parts would I have to order? (Yes, I'm being lazy and not going through 83 pages)

Did you input your VIN when you ordered the part? If you did it’s almost certainly recommending the non-heated factory steering wheel instead of the heated wheel

It said it was mandatory to put in a Vin, knowing it would pull up a regular steering wheel. Would you say the one I ordered is the correct heated steering wheel that will go with my 23 Lariat?

That was the same one I ordered when I did my retrofit and it worked fine. That same part number is also listed over and over on this thread as the correct part number

Yeah, I've been able to track down that connector, but I'm also wanting photos of the pinout of the wires on the stock steering wheel so I can make sure the aftermarket heated steering wheel components end up wired the same as the factory ones, if possible.

Installed:

-WPT-404-Wire Assembly

-W721079-S437 Steering Wheel Bolt

-ML3Z-3F791-BB Steering Column Tube. This includes the new clock spring. Is this my issue?

-ML3Z-3600-RA Steering Wheel


Notes:

-Properly grounded WPT-404 and tapped into fuse 29. I know it has power because fuse 29 turns on the screen. When I remove the tap and fuse, the screen doesn't turn on telling me the new wheel has power.

-All connectors have a female home and those female sides have pins. They aren’t dummy female connectors.

-Saved the stock SCCM, IPC, APIM and HVAC modules on Forscan before proceeding. I have other mods added way before I installed the HSW like the Unreal UI, Global windows, etc…

-Did not load any saved profiles to allow forscan to search for each module

-I don’t have functionality of the left buttons on my steering wheel. In past posts that has been because users didn’t write the stock SCCM module onto the new parts. I have added the stock SCCM module many times and it doesn’t fix the problem.

Attachments are photos of the stock and modified modules.

The spreadsheet shows the changes made between the stock vs modified modules. If you see Os instead of 0s, it’s because excel doesn’t like 0s in front of numbers or letters. You can confirm the codes are correct with the screenshots.

Let me know what you guys find out and I’ll gladly pay the person who can tell me why this doesn’t work.
