Adding Co-Pilot Assist 2.0 with Forscan?

I'm assuming mine is not prewired (base level XL Reg Cab) and I am just adding ACC and LC for the Comma 3.

To be clear, a Comma3X is much better for an F-150. If you only get a Comms3 you will also need a red panda, which makes the install messy.

Correct, thank you, meant to type 3x. And just need the ford harness that's the same for the maverick and the 8 degree windshield mount, and I should be set?

No, you need a different harness than Maverick. You need a Q4 harness.

If you plan to add parking sensors and/or 360 cams I think it makes a lot of sense to buy the OEM Ford harness. This will make the 4 wire harness for CCM longer as the bumper harness starts on passenger front of truck. But it's not much farther. You will need the necessary wires from dash controllers for 360 cams and parking sensors too. I am not sure off the top of my head if they come from IPMA too? Or elsewhere. Lots of scattered info in this thread and the 360 camera thread. It's a good one also. Some crossover with this one.

I've been flip-flopping on adding 360cam/sensors down the line. I've been fine without them.

In that case, I can forego the harness and purchase the following parts right?

Is it just plug and play? Or do I need to specialized tools?

The way I understand it, you don't need the bumper harness if you don't want to add 360 Cameras or Front Parking Sensors. You could always add it later if you wanted those features without touching your CCM or CCM harness. So no downside really.

If you have an XL with halogen fog lights, you will lose the connection to them by changing your bumper harness because the harness with parking sensors and/or CCM comes with LED fog lights with the DRL halo which is a different connector.

Not sure if it has been mentioned but the ford dealers seemed to have raised prices on all the parts, online seems to be a more affordable way to source parts.

I'm still concerned about making the harness correctly, from the CCM to ipma. Does anybody with experience making this cord have any advice?
