hopefully i dont get flak since mine were factory ordered....but to those on the fence and feel like they can tackle this install, get them. they are worth it. even after my FP leveling kit, they are at the perfect height for getting in and out. i think the truck looks better with these over the stationary running boards (just my opinion) as far as the kick switch goes, only time i kick mine is when i'm washing the truck. i kick them to deploy so i can clean then.

I called Infotainment yesterday. I didn’t get any info on when the harness would be available, but I’m on the interest list. Likely will build my own harness. I found the repair connectors from ford, those are pretty pricey. Going to find the connectors on mouser when the boards arrive. Does anyone already have the vendor (not Ford) part numbers for the connectors? I would like to order parts so I have them when the boards arrive.

Through Ford was about the only and easiest way I found so thats the route I went for the sake of time. The first thing you need to check though is if your driver seat harness is pinned out for PRBs or not. My 21 was but my 23 wasn't, and since you have a 22 I would say it isn't as just a hunch. Have you also sourced a PRB equipped DSM as well? I can send you the terminals you need, then you just need to make your own harness pretty much from the two main seat connectors on the cab side going to each board motor and that is it.

I think I found the connectors on another F150 forum. My Platinum seats were missing the driver's seat harness and DSM and I ordered them with the VIN from a Limited. When I searched the DSM part number every parts site I saw it on said with power running boards. I appreciate the offer for the terminals, but I think I have some left from my seat install. If not I will order them with the connector. I'm gonna go through the wiring diagrams and everything and try and do it the weekend of the 24th. One thing I was wondering, how has everyone done to seal the harness going through the floor so it's as good of a seal as factory?

I just picked up a 23 Powerboost Lariat with the auto steps Wednesday. I’m planning on taking them off. Let me know if any of you are interested in them

Look man, you might be legit, but this seems REALLY fishy with one post and literally joined yesterday.

Anyone interested in these, do your due diligence to make sure this is a real person with a real truck and real powered running boards

Typing on my phone yesterday and didn't read the post before posting it. Corrected the "scammer-like" grammar :)

I bought the truck on Wednesday from Jim Click in Tucson, AZ. Looking to ditch the steps and usually the best plan is to Google it....And then I arrived at this thread. It looks like it's not a easy swap for someone to do. Therefore Craigslist or Facebook isn't really an option. Happy to chat on the phone or meet up with anyone who might be interested. I also am looking to trade my 20" six-spoke dark alloy wheels for some 17's or 18's if anyone has a lead on that.

Send me a PM and I'm happy to give you my phone # and talk about the steps if you'd like.

Good deal, looks like you got it sorted out. Going straight to the DSM connectors was my first plan idea also, but since I had the right seat harness already, just went to the main connectors instead. The factory boards come with a large grommet around the wires, so you might see if you can source that one, or one similar to it. I got lucky on my boards and it was still on that end of the harness so just used it like its meant to be.

I built the harness for my 22 SD, I can confirm these are the right connectors for the motor under the truck.

Does anyone know if the 21-up 150 boards and motors are interchangeable with 13th gen 150 and super duty? My buddy has a lifted ‘23 and we were wondering if the super duty brackets and motors would work with his boards to make them come down lower.

Hey Jesse! Any updates on the harness for the OEM PRB?
i WISH MAN.. I ahve no idea whats going on. I approved all the samples months ago.

I have made them for Lariats that have the DSM already so all you have to do is pin them in AND REPLACE THE SEAT HARNESS.

I have made them for Super duty and F150 only difference being length and Kick switch

If youre really wanting one I can make one by hand if need be. Im not sure whats going on anymore.

I feel like Im not even apart of the company much anymore.

I got mine installed last weekend and I love them so much it’s a tie with the cooled seat and stereo upgrade. The super duty’s are a little low when you look at it, but the perfect height for getting in and out. The harnesses were not too bad to make. I had about 6 hours in the wiring and testing and maybe an hour putting the boards on when I had it on the hoist for oil change. I did have to reverse the wires as mentioned previously because they went the wrong way. I love having control so I can leave them in or out when needed. I highly recommend this upgrade.

Who still needs wiring harnesses to do this project?
I have the originals out my 2022 Platinum (18 speakers) I could sell to someone cheaper than market value.
I planned on saving the original in case I bought a different truck I could swap back to the original and bring the MCS to the newer truck but I'm keeping my 2022 forever.
I don't have any favorites so first come (PM) first serve. Already confirmed with Jesse they will work with a flashed DSM.
