Quick update: I attempted the update a few more times prior to taking it the dealership this morning. Nothing worked. same issues. I turned off the scheduled updates the other night to make sure the dealership could replicate the issue when I took it in this morning. The problem is Ford's ridiculous OTA process. Your capacity is at 79 (I assume you have an H7 or H8 battery) and SoC is at 100%. What does Ford want us to do? Connect the truck to a nuclear powerplant for an update to install? smh

When I woke up, I opened FordPass to make sure it still showed scheudled an, lo and behold, my truck updated last night. I was connected to the trickle charger. I still took it in to make sure I had an RO on this issue just in case it persists beyond my factory warranty.
I was told that every update I have attempted to install has installed according to FDRS. The Service Manager shared his thoughts that bits and pieces download whenever it gets a chance, but I still questioned what is preventing it from going into inhibit mode if I have met all of the preconditions and the download is complete. Finally, he told me my scheduled updates was setup and 7pm in the system, when I have it set at 11pm. I still love my truck and I appreciate the willingness of Ford to send this OTAs two years after purchase to make our trucks better.
