Heated seats via FordPass

Mine is on auto, if I remote start in winter the seats are on heat and the steering wheel heat is on. In the summer the seats are cooled. Never had an issue.

Same! Minus the cooled seats. ?

So here’s a question for those of you who have warm seats when remote starting…….are the red lights on your heated seat buttons when you get in BEFORE you hit the ignition?

No, those are never on, but the heat is on.

It's not a setting wrong somewhere unless the sync system is resetting previously chosen options somehow.

The heated seat and steering wheel was off when I turned off the truck last night. Remoted started for 15 minutes this morning. When I go in and started the truck to leave, the heated steering wheel and heated seat were turn on (seat on max setting). So it is automatically turning them on somehow, just not during the remote start.

I am updated to 6.2.0. I dont think this would be an OTA item or there would be a lot more people stating something was wrong. Especially when the trucks first came out.

I tested mine out again. I had the remote start seat setting on “auto” and then I remote started it and waited 10 minutes. The outside temp was about 35 degrees. I go out to the truck, open the door and feel the seat with my hand before I get in. The seat did have a slight warmth to it - and I mean barely - not nearly what it would be if they were really on.

I just re-tested mine as well. 6 minutes into a FORDPASS start and I have a warm steering wheel but cold seats. Temperature 26 degrees. All settings "Auto".

Tomorrow I will try a remote start with the key FOB to see if there is a difference.

Perhaps? I pretty much only use the Fordpass app thru some siri shortcuts.

I dont know why one would be different from the other though...

Used app this afternoon when I normally use fob. Wheel on and seat felt like maybe on low. This morning with fob wheel and seat on. Weirdness. It's single digits here I'll get more testing this week.
