FordPass Connectivity Failure

I've faced problems with remote start failing recently. After troubleshooting, I reset the FordPass connection on the truck and removed it from the app. Despite re-adding my truck, I can't activate it again; I keep getting an activation failure. I tried troubleshooting with Ford on the app, but we couldn't resolve it, and we got disconnected. Has anyone else experienced this recently? I suspect the latest OTA update might have affected my connectivity.

I just figured out the fix recently and this is going to become a HUGE problem for Ford. BIG TIME PROBLEM!

Unfortunately, no on the forscan. Huge and big time problems are not issues I want to be associated to, C'mon Ford.

Yes.. You have the issue. You can only fix it with forscan. issue is the last update screwed upi the TCU config. Its wrong on fords servers also. I emailed them about it but they dont listen to me.

Its easy enough to fix and will take a few mins but you have to have forscan.

Dealer cant do anythign!! Please listen to me on that

TCU udate.

It will be affecting a BUNCH and I mean a BUNCH of people. From mach E to F150

Youll notice your connectivity isnt working any more. Things like traffic and weather. maybe Zone lighting if you have it.

Then youll do a master reset to try and correct it and youll NEVER I mean NEver get it reconnected unless this is fixed.

A friend of mine reached out because he did that exact thing. I finally found the issue and it not only causes the connectivity to not work but it will prevent reactivation.

I am not publicly posting the fix because I want to see if Ford is going to listen this time. I sent an email to the executive team. We will see . I will gladly fix it for you if you have the issue but all the vins a Ichecks randomly had the issue.

Ok. I must have dodged a bullet. Just used FordPass to lock, unlock and start and all is well.

Ok, Message me the TCU as build so I can see what is stored. From what I see online the issue you have may not be the same BUT I cant say until I see what is stored. Sometimes online and in truck do not match
