Does that mean the 3rd brake light for us non-software engineers?
Yes, manuals will refer to it as the center high mounted lamp. Confused me too. It was a delete on many trucks for a while with chip shortages.

To clarify, the CHMSL itself was not deleted. They deleted the camera feature in vehicles that would have otherwise had the camera. You still had the light, since it's a legal requirement.

Correct, but they were referring to cameras so thought that was implied. :)

How come the spreadsheet doesn't have the blinker change option, battery charge option, fog light off when blinker, etc? Where can I find the values without having to read 177 pages? :)

Many options can be changed by editing the non-asbuilt using the "easy" interface.

Hey all. Long time lurker, first time posting.
Has anyone figured out a way to add a clock to the instrument cluster? I tend to drive with the infotainment screen off and would like to have a clock visible elsewhere.
Have already disabled the double-honk and black box on the rear camera (thanks Snakebitten and Livinitup) so I'm ready to do some 'real' changes :)

Apparently if Ford is nice enough to update 2021 IPMA then this will work.

I already have soft button for the 50/50 camera which is really what I was trying to obtain. (Works on 2023 trucks.)
I happened to look at driver assistance and saw the option is there waiting for turn signal trailer view.

Trying to understand the cameras at speed options under IPMA 706-02-02, I see the following heading:

FeatureCfg_DPAC_ViewCtlAtSpeed_Hitch (FCDPACVCASH) • FeatureCfg_DPAC_ViewCtlAtSpeed_Aux (FCDPACVCASA) • FeatureCfg_DPAC_ViewCtlAtSpeed_CHMSL (FCDPACVCASCHMSL) • FeatureCfg_DPAC_ViewCtlAtSpeed_RCOD (FCDPACVCASRCOD)

What does each of those do?

First line is enabling hitch view?
Second line is Aux view if you have one?
What does CHMSL mean?
What does RCOD mean?

Thanks in advance.
You’re toggling which camera circuits ‘view at speed’ applies to.

Hitch view (tailgate rear cropped), Aux (trailer I think), CHMSL = Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (AKA bed camera), RCOD (rear camera on demand aka tailgate non-cropped-in view).

For example, some fleet providers or companies might want to have trailer cam enabled at all times but lock out hitch view at speed to disable unnecessary distractions. That is why the circuits can be selectively activated or deactivated for viewing while driving.

Thanks a bunch, this helps a lot. Makes sense now.

Trying to remove black box when using rearview camera while driving.
APIM....7D0-02-02 xxx* xxxx xx--
I changed it from 0 to 1, even tried to reset APIM afterwards with no luck
2022 F150 Tremor 3.5 402a.

Any ideas why the black box is still there?
I've added anti-glare lighting, and bambi mode, and engine temps on gauge cluster
I'm in the same boat. 0 to 1 did nothing, I tried a 3 and that changed the APIM to show the climate bar. But I don't want the climate bar. If you get a response on this, let me know!

A couple guys have ran my vin and said I've got about 8 updates that have failed to install like they should automatically.
If I get them updated by dealer or mongoose cable/FDRS, everything should work.

Is there one to allow the front camera at speed? I have a tremor with all the offroad modes, I made the change where the front camera stays on in the snow and rock crawl modes, but I'd like to just be able to turn on the front camera in normal driving modes.
