The dealer I bought my last truck from, and where I and my son had previously bought trucks from, is not a straight shooter. It has reached the point where I go to another dealer 10 miles away now rather than the dealer I originally bought the truck who is only 3 miles away.Remember that incentives and offers are regionalized.
Just now looking at the retail website F150 Current Offers page for my zip code (78731), which says it is updated as of today (7/10/2023), it is showing $1,000 Retail Incentives for XL, XLT, and Lariat; but no retail incentives for other trims.
Note that page may open to "Featured Offers" tab which for my zip code says 'contact your dealer'. Click on "Pricing & Incentives" near the top of the page to see any Retail Incentives that are currently in-play, and scroll to the bottom of the page to see when it was last updated.
Note, too, that if you ordered from a straight-shooting dealer that honors Ford's retail order price protection program (IOW passes-through that Dealer Price Protection to their customers, which not all dealers do), you have the choice of financing rates and incentives which were in effect on the date your order was confirmed by Ford OR the date you take delivery (but not those which came-and-went between those two dates).
Good Luck!
That dealer would not honor the deal I agreed to when I ordered the 2021 PB on 9/1/21. Ford "balanced" me out of the 2021 models, so the dealer put in a MY22 order on Nov 2021. I was originally supposed to get $3500 in rebates/incentives plus 0% for 72 months. The dealer refused to honor that deal.
The paperwork was sloppy, but that's on me. Should have insisted it be done correctly. An example would be the 2 incentives/rebates I was actually getting totalled $2,500. The dealer just wrote in a total number without explaining what they were.
On top of all this, what should have taken 30 minutes, since I was an A plan purchaser, took 2 hours to put this purchase to bed. Heck, just before I signed the papers, he rushed over, took those papers away since he had 0% for 48 months. and substituted 0% for 36 months.
The cherry on top was 2 weeks later, I got a $1,000 further rebate directly from Ford Corporate. A week after this, I got a phone call from the grubby sales manager asking if I got a rebate directly from Ford. When I said yes, he said that check was supposed to to to the dealership, and would I return $1,000 to them. I told him no. I made up the excuse that I had spent that money and wasn't going to borrow money to give to him. Besides, if I weren't supposed to get that money, Ford Corporate was going to have to send a letter to me explaining why they wanted the money back, and if i did need to return the money, it was going back to Ford, and not the arse clown sales manager at the dealer.
