You're better of just buying the equipment & doing it yourself. I bit the bullet after I bought my truck new in 21 & have had nothing but success w/ of course @Jesse-Infotainment as my backup just in case.

Dealer said they unlocked my Apim and started the updates. Can someone check and see if that's true?

The dealer ran an APIM configuration procedure on your APIM yesterday. However, they never ran the PMI procedure on it and your truck is still showing Sync 20301. Post a pic of your "about sync" screen in your settings so that @Jesse-Infotainment can check and see if your APIM is properly configured to your truck or not. If he does not respond here, I would PM him the pic and ask him if they did it correctly.

If it is still at the dealer, then tell your service advisor to have them PMI the APIM. Hopefully he/she will listen to you and actually tell the tech.

Yep, according to FDRS this morning, those are all ready to be updated

Keep in mind that Ford does not pay dealers to perform module updates; even under warranty. Asking them to do these updates for you will most likely not be successful.

Yep, I found that out recently. I'm going to meet with @Jesse-Infotainment at some point to get them updated. Thanks to you and @Mwathey515 for the info.

PTS shows you got what looks like 4.2.3 and 4.2.4 in early May and nothing since then. I do see some manual updates done mid June to your truck. If you have full-screen capability, your truck should be up to date. I see IPC updates done in June which I assume are the equivalent to the 4.3.x updates. I would say you're fully up to date or close to it. Someone with FDRS would have to confirm.

Truck was in to the dealer last week to have them do FDRS updates with issues with the WACM, HVAC and the heated/cooled seats not working on remote startup. Tech told me he did everything that was needing update in FDRS. Can you verify?

I don't have FDRS, but your truck is on Sync 22293, so no way they did "everything". I can see what modules they updated, and they updated HVAC related modules and seat/door modules, but for sure they did not update everything that FDRS showed.

Really? That's very surprising to me. His Sync is the one you get with OTA 3.5.3.
