For those who didn't choose the safe, how do you keep that huge console organized?

Mine came with a small tray but that still leaves near enough to a cubic ft. of void.

The contents from my old truck, could easily fit in the 3 other compartments. I'm contemplating leaving it empty and finding a soft sided cooler the right size for road trips.

I threw the tray away the first time I bumped it and dumped all my neatly organized coins into the console. Now I just pile everything in there and root around for whatever. Baseball cap, tissues, bungie, Beef jerky, gloves, I don't even know what else .... Oh yeah all those coins are down there somewhere...

I just have several USB cables of various lengths, USB C and Lightning. I keep my work badge on the tray because showing up to work without it makes the shift super inconvenient

Skip the soft sided cooler. I can hook you up with a proper fridge that holds 8 12oz cans or 6 half liter water bottles (or 4 16oz tall boys, maybe 5?). It’s a compressor based unit, doesn’t matter what the temperature is, it will keep your beverages cold. That tray conveniently fits in the compartment above the glovebox if you still want to put it to use.

I know such animals exist but sitting in the console, how does it get rid of it's heat?

Some sort of warp machine... All the socks that have disappeared over the years from the washer and dryer magically appeared in there...

There are so many places to stuff things in this truck I haven't gotten to the console yet.

Something like this might keep things organized.

It really does. 3 other closed compartments besides the console and we haven't even touched on the door pockets, or console side pockets.

I'm liking the cooler idea better all the time.
