Other than you I’ve not seen anything about a design change. They have time to create 300 raptor shifter harnesses. I was told the remaining 10 orders would be shipped by last weekend. I’m still unsure how we all got to be the last 10 but let’s see. I reached back out for more information regarding the whole shipped by/over the weekend.

If it weren’t for the great work he does I would extremely aggravated and just request a refund/chargeback at this point. $600+ dollars to someone with no ETA on when the product would be delivered.

@Nightshade These harnesses were supposed to ship on April 15th, that was over a month ago and none of us have received our shit. Do you have yours?

So then I wonder if the last minute design changes to what appears to only be the ones going to his customers not his dealers are for better or worse.

I haven’t ever received a reply via email from his company. Only through direct message on Instagram or Facebook. Would take next to no time at all if they just sent out updates. At least acknowledge “hey we know we said April 15th and it’s almost end of May but hey thanks for your money upfront”. In fairness he did say they start shipping April 15th. If he shipped just one he technically started lol

To my actual surprise I actually got an email back. They said they expect them to ship over the weekend. This is now the second time I’ve heard this answer. Absolutely ridiculous. But it’s an update.

This is a good question. We’re about to have the second weekend of “out by/over the weekend”. If they can’t manage that I won’t be supporting this business any further. I get that it’s a holiday weekend but it’s a holiday weekend a month and half past the target ship date. Shouldn’t be allowed to charge my card unless you can deliver. The lack of communication on the business is the ultimate nail in coffin.

You can dispute the charge with your credit card company…I cannot remember if the rule is 30 or 60 days.

I dont want to go that route. I’d really like to have the product. I’m intrigued though by the other user in this thread who put his own together out of factory wiring.

Part of me just kind of laughs at this as it’s comical that anyone can think this is standard business practice. And someone in my messages telling me about COVID as an excuse as to why this is taking so long.

I missed the release. I was checking the site periodically during the day but clocked out and went home and completely forgot all about it until the next day.

I've been checking back every so often seeing if its available again with no luck. I signed up for notifications once its back in stock.

But seeing all of this makes me want to just build my own.

I’m considering it as well and I ordered one lol. But imma give it a few still. Mine wasn’t shipped this weekend as said. Really not sure what’s going on. Maybe he ran out of relay boxes and they are on Backorder or something

I have purchased 1 other item from him in the past. There were questionable delays, much like what is going on here, but I did get what I paid for. He makes some interesting products so it is a shame his business skills seem to be rather weak - I.e. not responding to emails and giving fictitious ship dates.

This is the 1st time purchasing something from his website.......i purchased one of his Raptor Paddle Shifter harness a few years ago when he posted stuff on a forum.

For the people that purchased off his site and got stuff, does he provide a tracking numbers or is it like it arrives out the blue type thing?

He does post tracking numbers. Even will send to your email or least I always have. From a lot of his harness and everything I’ve gotten from BGG, always got a tracking number. Instructions too; if needed (required forscan changes too, etc)
