First some of the FordPass functions stopped working. I get "not connected" when I try the trailer light check or zone lighting.

Now I'm getting a "Plugged In Not Charging" notification. My XLT is an EcoBoost. It's not plugged into anything right now. And FordPass just says, "Sorry, FordPass isn't responding. Please try again later." when I tap on the details button.

FordPass was kinda cute when I first bought the truck, but it's become pretty much useless in the last couple months. I know iPhone app developers and they can't figure out how Ford is screwing this up so badly. To quote Yoda, "Do or do not. There is no try."

Yeah I noticed that update in Ford pass today. Was hoping that a new power up OTA update had magically turned my powerboost into a PHEV so I could get the tax credit. No physical changes have taken place as of yet.

Ya I had to make a special male to male plug, so I could plug into the power port in the bed. But it didn't work and the truck went nuts! LOL That's the correct spot, right?

*FYI I am joking, please don't try this at home.

Same here. My Powerboost is at the shop right now getting some accessories installed, and FodPass tells me it's plugged in but not charging. Didn't do that yesterday.

My wife has an Escape PHEV, and FordPass is reporting it's charging status correctly. So this issue is a "FordPass/F-150" problem.

Wonder what the Lightning owners are seeing.....

It’s just agile software development. Deliver two bug fixes create another. Cycle repeats, onto the next sprint. :)

Same message here, but glad they at least fixed the Zone Lighting and Pro Power Onboard issue in the iPhone app.

Hmmm. I did notice I can now monitor Pro Power, but that's all. Would be a lot more useful is I could turn it on or off with FordPass.

That function is gone for good. Ford released an SSM saying they were going to do this and if you look at some of the menus under ProPower in the FordPass app, you’ll see that any reference to a direct Bluetooth/AppLink connection has been deleted.

Disappointing.
The extended functionality of FordPass features when the app has a point to point connection, had my hopes up of the app becoming a very powerful remote control for the Powerboost.

2 years ago it was more functional remote than it is today. And ProPower remote was one of my favorites.

The good news is that the Bluetooth OBDLink adapter still works well remotely, so I can still monitor what is going on during Generator mode while in the RV. Ford software development gets no credit for that. :)

Ford only got the full Pro Power functionality going about a year ago and then gave up on it. Agreed. Disappointing.

But the cellular function has been restored in FordPass. It doesn’t continuously report in real time anymore, but you can refresh and get a snapshot on demand. Better than nothing.

I have an OBDLink Bluetooth adapter. How are you using it to monitor the generator?
