And don't forget when your powerboost powers up at 3 am to charge the battery you ran down to keep the cell phones charged. Margo's gona be pissssssed!
and even more of a reason to leave the double honk on when you walk away
cracks me up at cam grounds hearing BEEP BEEP or DINK DINK from vehicles
or that hideous sound the hybrid makes backing up

I just recently did power folding mirrors in my XL I installed the 22pin harness with mirrors and made the adjustments on forscan for them to work properly. I did the APIM change to have them close when I lock the truck but they don’t fold away is there something extra I’m missing?

One of my biggest pet peeves of my truck is that when you open the door ALL the lights come on. It's a good way to become "that guy" in a campground when it's dark . Yesterday I activated the Silent Mode toggle in the APIM which keeps the truck dark when you open the doors. That does include the dome lights too but those can still be turned on manually. Silent Mode being on will make camping a little more pleasant for any future camping neighbors.
I think there is a button by the interior light button (where the moon roof toggles are)
It allows you to disable interior and exterior lights when the door is open

Oh. I didn't know that button affected exterior lights too. I'll check that out.

I changed to them on my XLT. If you didn't, you may need to go in to the DDM and PDM to 'enable' power tow mirrors.

Has anyone tried the HVAC module change 733-01-07 xxxx x8xx xx, and have it not work at fixing the recirculating auto off feature?

On my OEM HVAC module I made that change and my recirc would stay on as expected. Now with my 2021 digital knob module, that same setting seems to not change anything and the truck will automatically just turn off the recirc button like OEM. Seems odd.

Edit: After reading the other thread it seems that setting didn’t ever work for a lot of people. It certainly worked for me on my 2022 module. Weird.

Didn't work on my '22. Waiting for summer to see if it is A/C only.

It still works somewhat on mine but only when the a/c is running and the outside temp is hotter than the cabin. Worthless in cooler months (which I only have 2 of).

I know there is on the Superdutys. I bet it’s the same, or possibly point you in the right direction if not identical. I would look up the Superduty spreadsheet and see which address it says to change and test it out.

Edit: Top of page here:

This is specific to the Superduty so take that into consideration.
Hmmm... Interesting. I haven't gotten into my Forscan yet, but I wouldn't even know what to plug in, say for 20 psi, even if I could find it. What is 20psi in hexadecimal? I can't seem to find a conversion chart for something like this.

Another thought would be if I could figure out how to just eliminate the warning, yet still keep the PSI monitoring system available.

That superduty position appears to be lighting on the F-150.

But I found some parameters for you. Whether they work for that or not is another story. Go in the plain English Bdycm, look for tpm placard, there is a psi for front and rear. There is also tire pressure monitor that you could disable.

In the BCM spreadsheet there is also tpmec. enable or disable.
Do you think any of these could just remove the "low tire pressure warnings?" I guess on second thought, that's all I'm after.

Seems possible but I'm an inexperienced hack. There seem to be plenty of parameters that don't do anything because they are for other models. My own lower pressures didn't trigger the notice until just recently with a spat of cold weather so will likely be trying these myself.

I just disabled the sensor readouts completely, which illuminated the warnings. But now I kinda want to know my tire pressure w/o having to physically check it.

yes. You need a new hvac module and a new module in the column.
You would need to wire it and some programming

also depends on if you have evasive steering. I don’t think lariats have it but I can’t say for sure

I am working on a harness to add active Dss headlamps also
I'm a little late to the party so catching up... and a thought popped into my head. Because of Start/Stop removal, I have the blank where the button used to be above the 12" screen; adjacent to the camera button. Could that blank be used as a control for heated steering wheel rather than a whole new HVAC module? Not necessarily easier or cost effective, just avoids adding the buttons for ventilated seats that I do not need to add.

I bought a pair of OEM takeoff wheels to replace my originals that didn't have any TPMS in them. I just disabled the warning in the cluster with Forscan. I don't know the pressure in each tire anymore, but no warning on the dash.

This damn truck gives enough warnings from the dash anyway. Constantly going off. I need to figure out how to disable the tailgate down warnings. 5.5ft box requires tailgate down a lot for my use.

Yeah, I disabled mine a long time ago.

I've never had my tailgate down warning go off. Didn't even know that was a thing!
