Question for anyone that has received the new update that expands CarPlay:

Does the Unreal Theme allow for the full screen CarPlay? I loved the Unreal Theme but it seemed a little “off” with CarPlay in my opinion.

For me the answer is, yes. I just did the unreal screen a few days ago so I could have the "climate bar" at the bottom (which I truly enjoy, thanks for those to discovered this!!).

So full screen CarPlay definitely worked for you even with having the climate bar added?

Sounds like I’ll have to re-add Unreal theme.

Can anyone confirm if disabling FENG will also disable ANC?

Yes. The only reason I utilized the Unreal theme was because I wanted the climate bar. Otherwise, I still was able to have CarPlay at full screen (once I received the OTA update from Ford a week or so ago). On the CarPlay screen, in the upper left corner, has 2 arrows. I clicked on that, and it went to full screen.

One of my biggest pet peeves of my truck is that when you open the door ALL the lights come on. It's a good way to become "that guy" in a campground when it's dark . Yesterday I activated the Silent Mode toggle in the APIM which keeps the truck dark when you open the doors. That does include the dome lights too but those can still be turned on manually. Silent Mode being on will make camping a little more pleasant for any future camping neighbors.

I'm not a big camper but aren't your neighbors eyes closed when they sleep?

It's more like it's dark and neighbors Margo and Todd are hanging around their campfire, roasting their organic, ethically sourced marshmallows; enjoying the peace of the evening. All of the sudden, Griswold opens his truck door, lights up the entire campground, Margo and Todd are blinded and can't see the marshmallows, which catch on fire, their evening is ruined. Margo is mad, tells Todd to confront Griswold, he refuses, Margo cold cocks Todd, cops are called, further disrupting the peace. And it all could have been avoided by a simple Forscan change.

Hell no. That's what makes camping interesting for me. All the playful adult activity around me while I'm enjoying my tequila. I watch the kids run and scream all day then watch the adults come out at night and smack each other around.

I camp usually 1 to 2 times a year, but this is something I didn't think about, I'm happy I saw your post. I can toggle that quick before and turn it back on when I get home.

Thanks

Hey guys, I hope I'm not missing this, but is there anyway to lower the tire psi low pressure warning? I run my tires deflated a lot and hate it when the warning comes on, so I turned it off. But I got to thinking: I don't ever go below 22psi, so what if I just lowered the warning level... Any way to do this?

I know there is on the Superdutys. I bet it’s the same, or possibly point you in the right direction if not identical. I would look up the Superduty spreadsheet and see which address it says to change and test it out.

Edit: Top of page here:

This is specific to the Superduty so take that into consideration.

That superduty position appears to be lighting on the F-150.

But I found some parameters for you. Whether they work for that or not is another story. Go in the plain English Bdycm, look for tpm placard, there is a psi for front and rear. There is also tire pressure monitor that you could disable.

In the BCM spreadsheet there is also tpmec. enable or disable.
