Any update on your trucks location today? I'm tempted to drive over the the railyard where I think mine may be parked just to see a glimpse of it

Just for fun I tried to call up my window sticker from the Ford website. It says to check back later the window sticker has not yet been released for this vehicle. Odd since I have been able to view it since late July.

So the window sticker disappears at some point I just don’t know when. I miss quoted yesterday and realized it was in Albuquerque, NM. Still good. Just talked to my guy and he says it’s right about here. Just about ready to cross into california through the Mojave desert. Super stoked. I think it might be at the final rail yard as long as it keeps moving by Monday. As per vin view it’s suppose to be at my dealership 1/20. Can’t wait as I am sure you are having the same feeling. Excited is a understatement

I thought about the Diamondback. I think it's pretty cool. My buddy has one on his Denali HD. It is the real deal, no doubt about it. It can hold a side-by-side on top. But it folds in two pieces with the bar in the middle. I don't have a need for an ATV, so I changed my mind on it. I'm going with the Retrax Pro XR. The cost is not insignificant, it's a $2k. It takes up valuable space on the back of the short bed, but it rolls away and locks wherever you want. So if I do find something tall, just roll it back. I can use the tracks to put a rack or basket on top if needed. (I haven't thought about it too much.) LOL

That’s what I put on and I love it. I plan on putting mountain bikes on top of the trailer when pulling the trailer.

Man you have a Diamondback! Can you do me a massive favor? Fold the back panel over so it lays flat on the front section and let me know the exact measurement between the panels. It is probably the height of the handle to open the panel but I could never get fairly exact measurement. I asked one other person on here and said, "probably about an inch". Gee thanks for that extremely vague answer. .

This is the answer I could not even get directly from Diamondback. We went round and round but the CS guy could not get up and find one just to measure.

I was debating because I wanted to attach the Front Runner T Slots to the panels (3/4 inch) but I did not want to put undue stress on the hinges if there is not enough clearance to fully open the panel without complete clearance of those T slot strips. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

thanks to you now I am researching the retrax pro. I like the option of the T rail for bike racks.
currently have a Lomax tri-fold I really like and was going to get another.. until you came along!!!

I do like how the Lomax lifts off and then the whole bed is available, but to be honest I have rarely needed a full bed.

I toyed with the Diamondback but you lose half the bed unless you remove it.

The Retrax also consumes a bit of bed space but not as much.

I think I am going to go with the Bakflip MX4. provided about 99% of the usable bed space at all times.

if you live in place that gets hail , don’t get an mx4 get an f1 …. I had a mx4 on my last truck and it showed hail damage , the f1 does not have that issue.

August 8 build week alumni beware. Picked upped my 22 5.0 Screw on 12.22, pushing 900 miles as of yesterday. Twice now when pulling left into a parking spot, steering completely locks up and get Power steering assist error. Such a low speed no harm other than scaring the sh** out of me. Things went up a notch last night, 70-75mph on a heavily congested highway, cluster lights up like a Christmas Tree, thinking I saw something about an advance trak error-paying a bit more attention to the traffic flying around me than the error message, the truck completely shuts down and I mean to absolutely nothing. How I was able to get to the shoulder I will never know until I meet the big man upstairs. Hopefully my truck is an anomaly not another gift to all of us from this build week.

I am glad that you were able to navigate to safety with you and your passengers unharmed. However, this situation is unacceptable and I hope that whatever led to it is promptly investigated and corrected.

Is the only difference the material? I too was looking at the MX4
