Hi, Jesse has been helping me trying to get past the 1.7.1 stuck update. I've had it run and go through update and then I get USB Error 0. Jesse nor I have any idea what Error 0 is. Anyone else run into this? Been trying to go through this thread but taking forever with 400+ pages, lol.

I would try a different USB stick. Can't hurt. And if possible, format on a different PC.

Damn, so a PMI reset probably won't even work? Is there a chance to fix this with FDRS? Sounds like a no, and my dealer lied to me telling me they updated my apim and tcu and didn't.

Agreed, but it’s the only place I’ve seen this particular error mentioned. Maybe the problem affected more units than Ford realized when it released the SSM.

If I get a usb zero then yeah it’s screwed. End of day there is no right or wrong. But I would try a new ISB drive make sure it’s exfat. I use usb 3 and usb c for my updates always work. Even though it’s not officially usb c at the apim.

Usb drive is an inexpensive start though. Always start with a new one if you’re having issues

Wait, you can use a USB C drive? I thought it had to be USB B or A or whatever it is. The one I have is 3.1

GSM and BCM will not be distributed OTA. WACM probably not but I don’t know for sure. GWM should be pushed out OTA but it won’t give you Alexa. It just paves the way for a future APIM and TCU update which should complete the Alexa deployment.

cool I have a job 1 2021 powerboost like you do. I was hoping to try alexa and hoping the wireless charger actually starts to work and not just heat up the phone
