Just to confirm, if I ordered the package with just TPMS and Rear Camera, I can still use the Pro Trailer Backup via the stickers, correct?
I believe so, but I didn't test that specifically. I had the sticker installed and it worked. I got the parts for Yaw Sensor, Rear Cam, TPMS and cables. I installed all of that together and it worked. I've never tried unplugging the YAW sensor to see if it will search for a sticker.

Thanks, I can't see anything from the wiring diagram as to why it shouldn't work this way. They seem to be independent circuits/functions, but who knows with these trucks. Can find the camera/tpms package a fair bit cheaper without ProTrailer Backup. (LC3Z-1A189-D)

Yes, the YAW sensor only needs power (2 wire) and then some receiver in the truck picks up the signal if it's powered up. So if it's not plugged in (or not even installed) the truck has no way of knowing it "should" be there.

The other 2 functions (TPMS and Rear Trailer Cam) both require more/dedicated wires.

So I believe if you don't have a YAW sensor plugged in, truck won't detect anything, and should default to sticker.

GChurch, thanks for all the info and vids.

I crawled back under my 2022 and I definitely have 8 wires. The back of that connector has 2 horizontal rows of 6. All 6 on the bottom row are populated (see pic) and then 2 of the 6 on the top row (a black wire and a blue/orange striped wire).

can you find a pert number for your harness? Have you tried a trailer camera yet?

Yes, I bought the total trailer harness with drop for YAW sensor, and all TPMS and Rear Cam. Don't have the PN, had the parts guy at my Ford place look it up for a SuperDuty.

Sorry I was wondering if you could see a part number on the harness on the truck itself not the trailer. Mine came with just the 2 wires going to the connector. If you have the right harness from the factory as I understand. You didn’t put a F250’s harness on your truck right?

Correct mine was wired from the factory to the 12 pin with all the necessary wires. Search in the forum (I believe in this post) they have posted the PNs. As I remember it, there were a couple. I think a different routing for dual exhaust trucks. Also may have been one with the truck side (female) 12&7 pin connector, in case your truck had the 4&7pin. I don't know what mine is, or where it would be labeled.

From what I gather from this thread that there are 3 possible truck side harness part numbers:
ML3Z13A576J
ML3Z13A576JA
ML3Z13A576TFA

Does anyone know the difference between the J and the JA harnesses? I believe the TFA is for dual exhaust. I'm just trying to figure out what to order and from where because my dealer is clueless.

Get any answer on this one?
I need to order the harness. Single Exhaust, 4 bumper sensors. Lariat with 360 camera, and to package, but no trailer tech. I only have 2 wires to the harness. Can someone confirm the correct harness?

Tried to order the J harness and a few days later got this from Tasca Parts:

Part #ML3Z-13A576-J is currently on national backorder with the automotive manufacturer and has no estimated date of resupply. We do not currently have this item in stock at our warehouse and are unable to acquire it at this time.

Could you share the link to that auction? Want to see if they have more.

Hey all, thanks for the great info. It put me on the right track to find fords 72 hour service portal subscription and find the pin out for these connections. I chose to just add the 4 wires for the camera only kit. Works great. I can do a better step by step instruction in the future. That said it’s not plug in play and these connectors require pinout tools or some very very fine screwdrivers or other tricks to modify.

Where did you get the pins to use for this? Since the harness is backordered, I'm considering going this route if the pins are readily available.

Just FYI this connector with pigtail is a match for the back of the 12-pin bumper socket (I have it, continuity is proven and it latches in the socket correctly). WPT-1125 is one of several Ford PN's listed as a repair part in the Ford Workshop Manual circuit diagrams for this harness connector.
