I enabled oil temp but I can’t find any indication of getting the temp under the swing gauge like the other temp gauges. I have a raptor so I was able to add the oil temp in my measurements but would be nice to have it on both.

ok we need to find the raptor settings
you second pic has lots of stuff we could enable in the superduty,
having oil temp and pressure is a GREAT thing, the plusses of charge air temps is cool.
i can see all of those in forscan in the oscilloscope mode monitoring
thanks

Could you please post a pic of what the air charge temp gauge looks like on the screen as a gauge? I have never seen anything but what ford allowed on the f150s, which doesn’t include air charge temp.

If the raptor can display the air charge temp, what is stopping us from doing this on other F-150s?

I feel like I see a few things worth digging into.

1. Displaying an air charge temp gauge on cluster. In place of boost, trans temp, or oil pressure.

2. Possibly displaying other gauges on the cluster.

3. Activating the measurements screen info.

4. Activating this raptor style display.

I’ve tried enabling all of it. The Raptor IPC has different software.

Has anyone had this pop up come up when using Forscan for the first time? It’s wanting me to assign a new transmission solenoid strategy number and says the original is missing.
Any advice?

I've seen it. Selected one of the modules and selecetd to read that module and this came up, dont remember offhand which one, but canceled out of it. believe i've done it twice while messing around.

Not sure if thats what you had, but try one of the other modules that arent tied to the Trans and see if it comes up

I had everything you mentioned enabled since 1.7.1, and after all updates to Bluecruise it allowed viewing the 3 cameras at speed. Buttons selected the views.

Maybe you need to allow a few engine cycles.
I put this out previously, but still haven't been able to figure out why I'm not able to invoke the rear [tailgate] camera at speed. I don't have my forscan edit history close at hand, but I'm all but certain I've made all the recommended changes. Since my truck finally started getting updates I've been able to enable cams at speed, but it only toggles the hitch and CMHSL. Both seem like they'll be handy when towing, but for daily driving it seems the actual rear view would be the only useful view.

Any suggestions for something I may have missed are welcomed and appreciated! As @crsavage1 describes, I also have the "Bed Camera" card that only shows a soft key with no video feed. Thanks in advance!

VIN? If you wait I do believe the 2.8.2 or .3 update addresses this

Should have to push each quadrant on the face of the dial for 4x4, 4x2 mode then twist for drive mode
Just for completness (on Mike's "education"), you really should select drive mode FIRST... then if you don't like the default transmission mode that Drive Mode uses, you can push one of the buttons to change.

For instance, from Normal in 2H to Sport it will automatically change to 4A. From Normal to Slippery it will also change to 4A. For Mud/Ruts in will change to 4H with e-locker.

Of course this assumes you have a 4x4 and e-locker on your model.

If I'm not yet equipped for it, that would make sense. I think I've just given up on relying on Ford for any useful insight lol

I got "stuck" on the 1.7.x update early in '21... My first successful OTA (2.1.0) pushed through May 13th,. 2.7.1 just came through yesterday; I haven't used ForScan since it installed, but the cameras in motion are still limited to the hitch and bed views.

Thanks!!!

You cant do rear view yet. Its only an option on the newer IPMA firmware. You are still at the previous version. Once youre IPMA is updated it will automatically be viewable.

Understood, and THANK YOU!

Just out of curiosity, does that firmware update OTA or is that something I'd need to install manually at some point? After all the major issues I've dealt with, this is not something I'm going to lose sleep over. I just don't want to give myself any false hopes if/when future updates come through.

The IPMA is a part of a large OTA for Blue Cruise. I cant say they will send it out to you or not. It has been sent out though. The IPMA update includes 4 modules IPMA, CCM, PSCM< CMR.

You have three of those 4. So the update will involve those also its about a 4 hours update.

Through OTA I believe 3 hours of your truck not being available to drive

is there a bit to turn on for powered running board screen menus? curious if possible to add amp research boards with the menu control options / factory style wiring instead of amp's obd2 port plug in... if ive read correctly the older generation boards were connected thru seat module that comes with heated/cooled seats?
