05/09/22 Build week

No, I have been consistently been given the June 22-28 delivery ETA since the date I was informed the truck shipped. According to the sequence number on my WS and my blend date, it seems I was likely one of the last trucks built in Dearborn on the 5/9 build week and it appears I lucked out and missed the chip and wiper motor shortages some of y'all experienced in the early part of that week.

Everything about my build seems to have been very fortunate so far. You can check my signature for details. I rode the fence for months and months about whether to pull the trigger on ordering a truck right now. Within the span of a few days I received a PCO and news broke of the April price increase. My present built truck would cost me $4,600 more if I didn't place the order when I did, so I pulled the trigger. Also, I was considering everything from an optioned-out XLT to a modestly-optioned Platinum. Went with the 501A Lariat because I felt it gave me the best overall value (people can disagree with this). I have wondered a lot over the last two months if my experience would have been different if I had ordered a higher or lower trim than what I did.

Gotcha, thanks for the info, mine is a Platinum High package, and 6.5' bed, hopefully their estimated September delivery is inflated, and will change as parts are available, since I will be transfering my current truck over to the buyer in a little over a week. I would not have put it up for sale yet, but the dealer told me my new truck was on it's way.

@Kalidor , any chance you got a full VVR from Koons along the way? I'm curious to know the path the trucks are taking from Dearborn to VA.

I did not. My WS said convoy but it came by rail to Annapolis Junction MD. When I met Dexter he said it does only take a day or 2 to get to Koons from there.

PS, I I freaking love this truck. I'm over 40, this is my 5th pickup and 2nd F150. I hope yours arrives soon!

There's a short pause and then it gives the status.

For some reason I cannot for the life of me get the NS phone system to recognize the letters, either spoken or typed. TTGX is “81814192”, right? Is that what you did?

the csx line also says you can type it but it doesn’t work. And it also doesn't easily recognize the basig 26 letter alphabet when spoken.

NS rail says mine left on flat car yesterday at 10pm and is in (EW scan, ohio)??? The electronic reading is tough to decipher but sure as hell sounds like ew scan...

Also when it confirms my rail number it leaves the G out.

Annapolis Junction is only 30 minutes from my dealer. Would suck if it took more than a few days to get there if that’s where my truck winds up.

I got a chat update yesterday telling me my truck was in Blue Island, IL yesterday, where it had been since May 21. Today I received this update:

This puts it at about 100 miles from the dealership. Based on the 21 day transport window that has been talked about here, the 21st day should be the first day of my delivery window. Could come earlier, of course, but at least I feel comfortable it will stay on schedule now that it's out of Blue Island.

Hoping I'm in a similar situation. Mine has also been in Blue Island since the 21st, last time I checked on it was Tuesday. I'm going to chat with them as soon as they're up and running this morning. If it is still sitting there I'm not going to feel great about my 6/18 - 6/24 delivery date.

Got off with chat, I have a railcar # now, however its BNSF and the only place I could find to try and track it was impossible to understand and gave me an update as of January, so I'm guessing I was unsuccessful. In the chat they said ,after giving me the rail car number and an estimated delivery date that is in line with the dates they have given me over the last month or so, "This is also reflecting in Laurel, Montana". Laurel is where my truck will be unloaded from the train and where it will sit until a truck can pick it up, but does anyone know what reflecting might mean?

Well I went from October 7th chip hold last week to a Built status as of yesterday. Trying to get an ETA on shipping date. Looks like you guys had to wait around 2 weeks for shipping on average?
