How do I set my instrument panel to start in specific screen?

I am pretty sure this was addressed before but I can't find it.

How do I make my truck go to this screen:

automatically (or anyt other screen that I choose for that matter), and not default to this one:

everyt time I start the truck? I do not want to press the OK button every time.
I tried setting a profile in SYNC - that didn't help (unless of course I missed the setting for this option in Profile setting)?

Mine defaults to "This Trip" fuel screen 90% of the time. On occasion it does start with the My View just as you pictured.

I have yet to discover a pattern.

i dont think there is a pattern..mine will start sometimes at the MPG screen , then randomly start at the main menu then the trip.

its like HAL its just wants to keep us on our toes

I guarantee you that there's a software reason for it. But we aren't likely to ever know what it is.

Mine always starts on the last one I was on except if I'm on the driving assistance screen. Then it defaults to the view selection screen. At least that is a pattern I've noticed

Depending on which view you were in when you shut down, not all of them have good resume code? Perhaps?

I am usually on the driving assistance most of the time (I can flip between screens while driving, but my main display is the driving assistance), yet it will always start with the menu screen that I showed above.

Same! I'm very confused by this thread but maybe you guys have hit on it in relation to the driver assistance screen... I NEVER use that screen but I cannot get rid of it from the myview list (anyone know how??). But that definitely has to be it!

I think you select the screens you want to see from the My View list. If there is a screen you don't want you uncheck it by highlighting then pressing OK. I know you only get a certain number of screens and if you are at the max then to get a new one you have to turn off one that is already selected.

Take this with a grain of salt, as I am speaking from my experience with my truck alone and not from any technical knowledge...

At a glance, I suspect what you're dealing with is a well-known "MyView Reset" issue. By design, you should be able to configure your MyView by selecting the screens you want it to include. It SHOULD retain your selections, allowing you to scroll through items that you've chosen, even if those items are from different root menus (truck info / trip / off-road / etc). The problem is that for I and many others, the truck randomly forgets your settings and reverts to that initial setup you're seeing.

Perhaps I'm off-base with what you're experiencing, but if it IS the same issue, mine was finally resolved after 15+ months by the TSB 22-2186. It's been almost 2 weeks since that was applied by my dealer and I haven't had MyView reset since. Prior to that I never made it more than 48 hours, and more often than not it would reset on every startup. As others have noted, there was no apparent pattern on any specific actions that would trigger it.

@sonofzell - I am able to configure MyView, I have all the screens that I want/"need" in that menu. As I mentioned, I usually drive most of the time with the Driving Assist screen on but that won't stay on. I have several of the same menus under "MyView" but it always goes back to this 'menu' when I start the car.

Yeah, after looking more closely and seeing Jesse's reply, the issue I was referencing is clearly not relevant. Sorry I don't have anything more useful to offer.
