Has anyone seen this message when trying to PMI an APIM. I have the latest revision of sync and it showed in the stance about info hands free was available. Now it’s gone. I was having trouble with my screen orientation and once I got that resolved with the APIM my software revision is the same but hands free is gone. To top it off I just got notification from FordPass about an hour ago that my blue cruise was now active. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Not much. PMI sets bits in the module for the initial config has been done. It’s not completely different. Ford recommended that PMI only be tan when installing a new module. Config for modules already installed. PMI though has been successful at correcting issues wheee the config wasn’t

The only reason I’m this situation to run it is if the PMI won’t typically the config will.

They both run the as build. That’s what he needs ran. After every update the module is configured. Config will also update at times if there is one available.

Oh, i see why. I bet there is no sync info in your asbuild.. let me pull your as build. Youll have to wait for the APIM to repopulate before you can do anything again.

Yeah if you look at your as build.. 7D0 is gone. Youll have to wait for it to show back up to do anything

It will eventually. Yeah if you left the APIM out and it happened to be when the truck self reported it reported no APIM.

That or swapping apims back and forth can cause it also.

The truck will self report again with the apim in it. All you can do is wait.

If you want to turn the hands free on you have to change as built in the aapim

I updated my Job 1 truck last weekend from stuck on 1.7.1 to BC and SW 22095 Rev 421.
the date on the sync screen shows "hands free driving mode available through 10-9-2022"
FP and Ford.com connectivity account show the correct expiration date of 5-15-2023, is the 10-9-2022 date the map expiration date? and if so does that mean that there will have to be a map update by then or we lose BC?

You need to go to your connected services. It will have a separate date for the services that will expire. Nav is separate from BC, etc.

Thats what I mean, connected services shows:

Connected built-in Navigation Trial Exp. Date 3/18/24
Ford BlueCruise Trial Exp. Date 5/15/23
Ford Pass app shows Blue Cruise exp date 5/15/23

The above are all correct

My question is why do I see so many guys (me include) see this on the sync screen
"Hands Free Driving Mode Available Through 10-9-2022"

They havent done a PMI on the IPC.. They have done it on all kinds of other modules just not the IPC.. PMI the IPC

The tech has tried the PMI on the IPC but it fails.
Are there any other options you can suggest.
