got a call last night for update, Apparently the shuddering was caused by a bad ignition coil. Part was ordered last night and should be in today. They also said there's a new TSB for the transmission, will see how that all works out ?

Ignition coil makes sense, at least for me it is both a vibration and hesitation feeling. No codes on my dash though.

Do you know what number the tsb is and what it states?

Update, Picked up the truck last night, Drives better than new ! Ignition coil was replaced along with a sparkplug and newest TSB for transmission shudder. The new programming for the transmission made a huge difference, ALL gears are supper smooth and barely noticeable when going thru the all gears. I can honestly say the truck drives like its worth $105k now.

Looking at the paperwork, it really doesn't state what TSB #, It just stated reprograming latest update, Replaced # 3 coil, and # 3 sparkplug.

Mine has a very similar light vibration/drone between 40 and 60 mph. Ive changed tires and wheels,no difference. Sounds almost like a bad wheel bearing or exhaust drone.I cant figure it out . Mine isnt real consistent. It varies at different speeds etc. Im taking it in for service next week and see if they can find anything. It looks as if lots of customers are having similar problem. Mine is A 2021 RCSWB with 5.0,3:73diff and 10 spd auto.

anyone this that this vibration issue the we are experienceing is related to Cylinder Deactivation and maye the missfiring on different pistons are causing the engine to become somewhat unbalanced causing drone and vibration. I know in the 1980s cadillac they had a v/8 v/6 and V4 problems. This engine option was done away with pretty fast the the dropping of cylinders caused vibrations and a droning noise like everybody was talking about on the F150

Well heard back from the tech today. He says that he contacted ford about the issue, after test driving two other similar trucks that he said were worse than mine, and they told him its a known issue and engineering is working on it. It could be 2 weeks or 2 months - he has no way of knowing. Refused to even put vibration sensors on the vehicle or put it on a lift until they heard from ford, which is BS in my opinion. Definitely getting a hold of the ford rep with my case number and pitching a storm on this one. People dont spend 55 grand on a vehicle to be ignored and experience a crap driving experience. Fords losing some customers, quick.

update - well its seems that my mind was playing tricks on me ! The shuddering that I thought was resolved after the coil/spark plug was replaced and newest program installed is still there ! less notable now but it still shudders [ slightly ] !

Can I ask where in Ontario you are and what dealer? I am in Kingston Ontario and have a 2021 Limited PB that has all of the symptoms. New tires been to two different dealers, they just kep throwing parts at it.
No load & no trailer at attached speed and RPM my phone will almost vibrate out of it's holder.

Hello there! Send us a private message with your truck's VIN and current mileage. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this vibrating issue. Thanks!

2022 F150 XLT VIN: 1FTFW1E80NKD80210 Mileage: 396

Just bought truck last week. Even mentioned the vibration on the short test drive to the salesperson. I assumed it was cylinder deactivation. It is not. Above 48 mph has a oscillating hum / deep throbbing reverberation. Took it back to Sutton Ford in Matteson, IL and they verified the concern, experienced what they call a shutter in 8-10th gear. Per TSB 22-2224 updated PCM and stated the issue is corrected. After picking the truck up, it is exactly the same, the vibration persists and is unchanged in any way. Others have stated here that replacing the driveshaft or the rear gears have fixed the issue. Please advise.

I now have all new tires, new torque converter, new driveshaft and the latest TSB. The truck still vibrates the same. Ford knows it is an issue which is good, but they believe they can still fix it. I am beginning to think it is either a bad design or some bad transmission out there. I have been with our my truck 3 out of the 6 months I have owned it.
