So this is my first truck and first new Ford (had an old explorer about 20 years ago) and this coolant leak / backordered part debacle happened to me as well. I dropped the truck off at the dealer on 2/23 and got it back on Thursday, so just over 3 weeks to resolve. I was very displeased having to give up a truck I waited months for 3 weeks and not even filling it up for the first time. The service people were very nice about it and my loaner was pretty decent, although not a truck. The Ford Customer Experience Specialist assigned to me wasn't really helpful at all, and I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but she called my wife's number for 3 days even though I specifically gave @Ford Motor Company my number, and I left a VM and talked to another specialist to get the number updated and she still called my wife's number who can't answer while working. Really frustrating. She finally called me on Tuesday and after failing to contact the dealer that day and being too busy to retry, she said she would be off on Wednesday. I talked to her one more time on Thursday before I heard from the dealer and she just said "I tried calling them and there's no answer" and then just silence. I felt like saying, "Why are you telling me this? You are supposed to be solving this problem for me!" And then she said she would try one more time if she had time that day, but she would be off on Friday. Maybe she pulled some strings behind the scenes to get the part to the dealer faster, but I highly doubt it given the failure to contact me or the dealer so often. Sorry just had to vent because this experience has been anything but smooth.
I just pray I didn't get a lemon and can avoid "experiences" like this in the future.
