I dont live there, no. I bought it from them for the under invoice deal and drove it back to South Florida.
I honestly can't believe this issue is still happening. what is the build date of your truck?
im somewhat relieved my bigger ICE level isnt dropping at all.
and to top off from min to max on the EV tank is like a 2 second pour. but where is it going (and when).
so i did a 750 mile trip Saturday.
at the first stop at 250 miles, smaller tank was still on the max line. great!!
second stop at 500 miles it had dropped to between the max and min. shucks.
and at the end it was just above the min. dang it.
but it hasnt gotten any lower and i have yet...
just went to the dealer and had them top off the small tank. still never saw a leak.
...but now i for know for sure they're both at the Max line, should be easier to detect if im losing any.
obviously i wasnt too happy that a known design flaw kept my truck sitting in a lot for 2 months.
but my main goal was to not have this cost me anything out of pocket, and also be covered beyond my 3/36000 since i had no idea the condition the truck was in for 2 months.
adding the 5/75000...
Now that my truck is finally back, here's what i got from ford:
2 payments covered since my truck was inop for 2 months ($3,000 total)
Extended Service Plan 5/75,000 added (non-transferable)
Premium Maintenance Plan 3/45,000 added (non-transferable)
$40 check to re-subscribe to XM for the next...
no clue, but a few pages back i posted a link to another forum where someone else's coolant lines were rubbing up against the driveshaft too.
and they didnt have their heat exchanger replaced (as far as i could tell)
