I think it may be related to the notification yesterday that Ford was going to start shipping vehicles if the missing modules are not safety related. They said dealers would receive missing modules within a year to install. I can live with that but it would be nice if Ford would incentivize us to accept the delivery...0% financing would be wonderful.
Ah, yeah. That very well could be it. I agree….seems like there should be some incentive to take delivery of a partially completed truck. Also interesting since they can’t charge for something they didn’t provide…..so wondering logistically how that will work. Will we have to pay for the entire feature when the module arrives?

With my luck it will be the ProPower chip and they’ll light it up next winter after camping season. But — I’d much rather have something than nothing I guess. Also seems like if marketing can hand out PCOs to website visitors they should be able to issue sizable PCOs for the hassle. Will be interesting to see how they handle shipment / installation of the chips when my local dealer is not where I’m buying the truck. Not driving 10hrs each way possibly several times for the missing modules!!

I was just browsing the 2022 build tool on the website and it appears the Powerboost is no longer available on the Lariat trim — at least not on the build tool. First casualty of the “reduced options due to supply availability”? Seems like Lariat Powerboost was an extremely popular combo.

someone posted about this in one of the facebook groups, the default lariat build is on a supercab and the powerboost is not available which is correct. if you choose supercrew the powerboost is available as an option.

I was looking at the new GMCs yesterday (as ultimately i have owned many chevys and looked there first) and noticed on the new AT4s obviously they come with no steering wheel heat & heated seats but I also saw they are doing the same with front/rear park assist as well. While I could see taking delivery of those as long as they do ultimately put the chips in at some point but my ford is missing the telematics control unit & the acm. I wouldn't be keen on taking delivery 75k of a truck without working speakers even though it's not safety related.

That was exactly it. The website is being all sorts of glitchy, so even after selecting SuperCrew it wasn’t actually choosing it. Went back a few more times and got it to hold. Sure enough, the Powerboost option appeared. Thanks!

I would think speakers are used for backup sensors, blind spot alert, etc - all safety related. I’m guessing if you’re held up by audio they won’t ship until the chips are in.

So today I tried to view window sticker from tracker (which has been there for about two months) - and got a message that window sticker not accessible yet for this vehicle. What the heck??

Here's an updated spreadsheet. Seems some folks are getting mixed messages from Ford - imagine that! @bgator - I show your truck being delivered to Granger Ford on Feb 22, but you're only picking it up next Tue the 15th. Is that delivery date correct?
Yes, that's correct.

So here's an update: My dealer is receiving Trucks of all Trims and options to include Powerboost for Trucks with Blend Dates of 1/31 to present. Of coarse no news on Build Weeks 1/10, 1/17, or 1/24. None of the 40 Trucks I've been watching for those weeks have been Built.

Received my “Shipped” email now and it reflects in the tracker as well.

I haven’t been able to find it on unitedroads or palsapp though. My window sticker says Rail. Does that mean I won’t be able to track it via those sites?

when does it show up there? Anyone know?

More deliveries! We all wish we could have that big ole smile @Funke5.0 is displaying in his delivery photos at Granger. @bgator should be taking delivery of his today - no photos, it didn't happen! If I can figure it out, I would resort our spreadsheet to put all the deliveries at the top and group the chip holds together. Here's to hoping more of us get good news soon!
