Here it is fellas! It’s finally real! Looks like there will be a camping season for me this summer. Wooooooo
That’s awesome. Your story inspires me lol. Saw that you were 6/4 on tracker before. And now moved to early April! That’s great!

Truck showed up Wednesday. Picked up Thursday evening. I hope others start getting theirs. It’s so worth the wait. Definitely an upgrade from my 2008 Ford Focus ha.
I though I was stepping up my game going to an F150 from a Tacoma, congratulations!

Given the recent Russian advance into Ukraine and all of the associated fallout to date, I imagine this is Ford sending out a 'CYA' email. Palladium imports from Russia vanished with the sanctions, which takes 40% of global supply offline for the Western world. Platinum and nickel futures have skyrocketed as well. Catalytic converters, batteries, chips, wiring relays, are what immediately come to mind but I'm sure there are other affected automotive components.

Sadly, it's gonna get worse before it gets better. Let's all hope that China has decided to dial back any ideas about military adventurism in Taiwan, where 90% of global chip manufacturing occurs.

Super helpful and great insights. Makes complete sense.

Thanks Ralph!! Really appreciate your work on this as always. I know it can take considerable time and effort to track all. As a % of outstanding not a bad week for deliveries.

Hope some brainiac in Ford management doesn't get the "bright" idea of cannibalizing our chip-held trucks to complete those on the line. Oops, I may have just given one of them a bad idea. o_O

Ha!! I was hoping the opposite, but thinking the same thing. I thought maybe if chrome and batteries weren’t available we might start to get priority for the few chips that do exist. But, your scenario is sadly more likely!

I think it may be related to the notification yesterday that Ford was going to start shipping vehicles if the missing modules are not safety related. They said dealers would receive missing modules within a year to install. I can live with that but it would be nice if Ford would incentivize us to accept the delivery...0% financing would be wonderful.

I haven't popped vins in for the day yet but I will pull a few shortly. I can definetely see some tremors popping up built though.

I am heavily debating picking up this used 2021 loaded platinum which just showed up used on my dealers lot with 10k miles around 10k under msrp(at least 10k under what it would cost in a 2022). I had him put my name on it and plan on taking a look this week. I will still continue to monitor the tremor build I have in though.

I reached out to a local dealer today too. They had some Platinums and Lariats incoming that were similar to my build. We are cutting it close for start of camping season which was the entire purpose for the truck, but MSRP (or above) on everything at this point. For a difference of close to $10k I guess I’ll just wait it out. There seemed to be a lot from the 1/16 build week headed their way.
