I expected them t find something else... But that's what they found... I do not like the "no dipstick" mode...

Mine makes noise on every cold start. By cold anything lower than 45 Degrees. Can hear it from drivers seat. Super embarrassing

I can confirm the exact same racket from the passenger side. I'd post a video, but the sound is identical. Only 2,000 km on the truck built in July of 2021.
Update: Great news! My dealer's technician (hybrid certified) was able to verify the transmission noise! He noted that it sounded like a pump starving. And to no surprise, it was starving. They took the time to follow the proper procedure for checking the oil. It then took 2 litres of the special Mercon transmission oil bring it up to the proper level. No leaks before and after servicing. I checked the operation this week at -27C (-17F) and the harsh noise was gone. And yes, the truck shifts much smoother as well. Amazing!

"They took the time to follow the proper procedure for checking the oil. "
Who's your dealer and what/where/when?
Any other info you can share would be a huge help for those of us
who have dealers without good technicians....

I am not a mechanic. By "proper procedure" I should have said I was told by the service adviser that they followed the unique procedure outlined by Ford service manuals for checking the transmission fluid and to bring it to the right level. After reading your message, I found this: link to a 3 minute video which gives a brief overview the checking procedure.

Very useful and informative video, Thanks so much!
Only problem now, the dipstick, per the video, has many
marks on it and each truck has it's own specific "full" number.
I looked in the online manual for the Power Boost but didn't see
what "Full" is, on our trucks .... But I have more today than yesterday,
so I got that going for me ... ?

Update: After watching the video again, I thought 'Why not ask the question'? So I did, and the Shop Talk mechanic promptly replied.... :)

I've looked at the online manual for my 2022 F150 Power Boost, but no number for the transmission level, could I find. If someone knows the full level number and could share it, thanks in advance!

I had to look that one up.
I don't think I've had to check one of the hybrid F-150 yet.
The correct level is between 3 and 4, transmission between 206F-215F with engine running, .....but do they ever have a procedure to check it.
They have a continuous engine running mode they want the vehicle placed in to check the fluid level.
I'll do my best not to leave out any steps. ...............................

Start with vehicle level, in park, ignition off .

1) Apply the parking brake (do not press the brake pedal)
2) Turn ignition on, leave engine off
3) Within 5 seconds fully depress the brake pedal and accelerator pedal at the same time and hold for 10 seconds.
4) Within 5 seconds, release only the accelerator pedal and engage engine start mode (ignition on, engine running)
5) Fully press the accelerator pedal for 10 seconds or until the green READY indicator turns off and starts flashing once every 3 seconds indicating the vehicle is in the engine running diagnostics mode. If the green READY indicator doesn't turn off after 10 seconds, cycle the ignition and start over
6) Release the brake and accelerator pedals. The engine should remain running continuously.

The correct level is between 3 and 4.
We all learned something today ;)

@Shop Talk - Thank You!! I'll share this on some forums that I'm following. This will likely help dozens of Power Boost owners in the near future! Thanks again!! [Is it safe to assume the dipstick needs to be fully re-threaded to reach the correct level for a valid reading?]

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFHkHsaWQJuDGDOF4aOVcfw - Fully re-threaded or most of them pull out of the cap and just fully insert it in the transmission. There’s a shoulder, you can’t put it in too far or drop it in the transmission.

Good afternoon. Would you please send over a private message with your truck's VIN and approximate mileage so I can look into this noise concern on my end? Thanks!

We are having this problem too. We have 2 brand new, identical 2021 F150 Powerboosts. Mine did it about a month ago. At the same time, the 4x4 went out (only 8k miles). She’s been in the shop ever since. They’ve put in a while new transmission and are awaiting the part to fix the 4x4.
This morning, he remote started his and I heard it from the bedroom and immediately went running! Please no! Not again. We love our trucks.

Mine will be at Larry Miller in two weeks to have it looked at. Of course, the problem only occurs when the truck is ice cold. I hope they will use this forum thread as evidence (I also posted my video) because I'm too far away to go back and forth and require 4WD or AWD to get up and down from our house when it snows so any long term rental would/should come out of their (@Ford Motor Company) pocket not mine. Not to mention I'll need my truck to haul stuff very soon.

@Ford Motor Company ...... Are you guys planning on answer any of the 30+ people on this thread?

***For reference, @Kimmyb92486 is my girlfriend. We have the same truck (different colors of course) that we bought in Oct 2021. Hers is in the shop getting a full transmission replacement and mine is making the noise now.

Mine has been in the shop since Feb 3rd. It took several week for the new transmission unit to come in and another 5 days or so for them to put it in. The Integrated Wheel End still has not come in. The service dept has been "working with Ford Engineers" throughout this whole ordeal. In my case, the transmission and the IWE were two separate issues. First, I wasn't able to shift into 4x4 or change the drive mode at all, during a snow storm mind you- so I called the dealer and got an appointment for the next day. The next day when I started her to take her to in because of the 4x4 issue, the noises and such started. I will try to upload a video to the forum. In the meantime, here's a link to my YT video of it.

Well, at least there are several of us here in Colorado with problems?

FYI ....................
I contacted/messaged the Ford social media rep who follows this forum.
https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/members/ford-motor-company.4246/
He contacted me back promptly.
He asked questions.
I answered.
After the normal back and forth, the process begins.

You'll note that this was a private, person to person conversation.
If your truck has this issue, I'd suggest doing it this way as well...
Start a conversation with the fellow and maybe ... No fuss, no muss................

Btw: I also just made an analysis appointment with my dealership, Auto Nation Ford Littleton. It's not wonderful but it is what it is.... March 21st, 7 am Leave the truck for up
to a week ....

Btw2: My noise file from this morning on Google Drive .. 8 minutes long and the music starts at 45 seconds ....

Ford’s Social Media rep, Drew should know that I just uploaded a second video of our second vehicle with this issue to YouTube. I don’t have a million followers, but I am relentless. Is Ford suddenly only manufacturing vehicles for people that live within 20 degrees of the equator or what? Neither of our issues were even sub-zero! It falls below the freezing temperature of water in every part of the US. Unacceptable.

I just had the back and forth with Drew as well. Tryed to explain the situation without being frustrated. Waiting on a callback from Castle Rock Ford for a service appointment.
