01/03/22 Build Week

Don't jinx us. I am still assuming mid Feb by the time I get my truck. Hopefully sooner as Kentucky is only about 6 hours from Dearborn, but rather be surprised than disappointed.

Likewise, I'm also hoping early-mid February. I'm just over 3 hrs drive to Dearborn (give or take with border). But in other threads it sounds like it's the quality checks/computer chips that are holding things up after build.

Dexter told me to expect the delivery to be around mid Feb, but I will be out of state til mid March before I can pick it up, so kind of a bit of a reversal wait for me.

Every day or two, I double check all the trackers available. Nothing but disappointment usually, but I finally got something in Palsapp!

Origin: Dearborn Truck Plant, Destination/Destination Name are blank/null, but I have a Freight Bill # and "Pending" status!

I checked with Granger and I have a build date of 1/6 now. Still nothing on any VIN tracker though.

I am a bit confused on how people who ordered platinums in september, october, and November are being scheduled. I ordered my platinum 701A 5.0 engine in august. I am not sure if it's because adaptive steering isn't added. I asked my dealer and they are useless. I am even priority 2...... im on the verge of cancelling my order losing patience. Any advice? Maybe a number to call besides my dealer!

Now I’m starting to wonder… I don’t get ford emails and I haven’t bugged my dealer in a few weeks.

If I was, it’s a bit wasted. I can’t take possession until February when my current lease is done. They should have bumped someone else up!

I would contact @Ford Motor Company through a PM and ask for assistance.

The problem we have with our builds is seeing the complete picture of the supply chain fiasco we're in and the ebb and flow of materials & transportation services. So we can only offer advice on what information we've gleaned by small glimpses into the process, by folks who can see just some of the supply chain components.

Please let us/me know if that PM helps you. I've referred a couple "lost hope" people to them, and have gotten at least one "it was helpful" reply.

Either way, the timing is lining up quite well for this vehicle to arrive and your other lease to be up!

We’re just two weeks out from the start of our build week!

If you haven’t already, I’d suggest reaching out to your dealer to get the latest on your builds. Especially considering the trackers and window stickers are down. On the dealer software mine is currently showing status “Sent to plant” and I have a build day of 01/03. Makes sense why my VIN is showing up on palsapp.com.

I’ll continue to make daily updates if people provide new info!

About 4 weeks ago I could track my VIN on the palsapp site, now I cant. I chatted w/ Ford today and got nowhere.

There are a couple 2022s sitting on the dealer lot up the street, I tried to retrieve a window sticker for one of those VINs and couldnt so that looks to be a system wide issue /w Ford and not any indication of how far along in the build process your truck is.

I guess Ill know its built when it shows up at my dealer.

Have you tried your dealer? They can pull up the status in about 2 seconds on their software.
