Josh35 moves into the lead with a truck on-lot, albeit with a shiny-chrome Ming-the-Merciless-style skullcap... hopefully, he can get it sorted out. If not, send your cans of flat black spray paint to Josh35 care of this thread.

Fquinn unfortunately moves down a couple of notches with a revised ETA, but still, it looks like they're looking at days rather than weeks or months.

And Catfishkid1986 is expecting his any day now.

My sales guy says they'll almost certainly finish all 2021s before they start building 2022s. 2022 F-150 production is slated to begin at the very end of November. Does this mean they'll ship the Limbo Trucks by then? Only time will tell!

I ended up taking a delivery of my original 4/22 build a month and a half ago, but I reordered the same exact truck in June (8/4 production date) and it is in transit now eta 10/17.

I'm super happy for my neighbor who is in the grits of a long cancer battle cancer. He's going to get the truck. I got him X plan so he'll have a Lariat Powerboost 4x4 for ~52k before tax.

well, i picked mine up friday! sorry for the delay in responding but as you can imagine with the weekend and a new delivery i was pre-occupied.

Dealer was great, honored financing and custom build discount, as well as x-plan. I was in and out in an hour. no scratches or noticeable issues. Had 34 miles on it which salesman told me meant they pulled it off the line for test drive/quality control.

Have only logged about 100 miles, most of which in atlanta traffic (<40 mph), but so far i am very impressed. Only "issue" i noticed was the transmission shifting which others have mentioned. Not as much of an issue when going up in gear, but in highway traffic when slowing down from 60mph to a stop somewhat abruptly, i noticed a bit of a hiccup in downshifting.

I joined so I could be added to the Limbo list, have lurked before.

My situation - Its a little different than most of you since I didn't actually order this one myself. Recently decided to switch from F250 to F150 (work doesn't require the bigger truck anymore. My boss and I went to the local dealer, they didn't have anything in stock that I wanted. However they had one ordered that I like so we decided to take it. Was bored so I looked up the vin off the window sticker and plugged the information into the ford tracking website. I was horrified. 01/29/2021 receipt date. It has Been "In Production" since August 03, 2021.

The salesman says it is built and waiting for shipping. Will see if we can find something similar from another dealer if nothing changes in the near future.

Congratulations!! Very glad you got it at last! But... you're also breakin' my heart... your truck is virtually identical to mine right down to the color... mine's got the shorter bed, and power running boards, but otherwise, exact same. So I look at yours, knowing that somewhere in Dearborn, in a lonely storage lot, there's it's near-twin just waiting, and waiting. One day!!!

The only option on a Lariat for tow mirrors is to have chrome caps. Even with the Sport Package. Doesn't make any sense at all to me.

Ya that’s what the dealer said too. Little odd that Ford does that. I’ll end up having them painted to match the all black look.

My MTE keeps going up, was 530 when I picked it up with a full tank, and has climbed to 550 something.

Mine was at 530 when I picked it up and is at 430 now after 250 miles. At that rate I should get another 1000 miles or so before I need to fill up

Yes, but it requires forscan programming I believe. Check out the forscan threads on this forum.

Edit: higher trims has this as a sync 4 setting

Yes, at least on mine, center screen, settings, vehicle settings, mirrors. If I'm remembering correctly.

Yes, it's in the settings. I don't remember exactly where. I currently have mine set to fold when the doors are locked.

Sorry I was out yesterday... I was driving to Virginia in my old truck Friday, but it broke down en route because it's my OLD truck. I would have taken my NEW truck, but, well, you know....

Anyway, a night at the Comfort Inn and some help from the good folks at Shelby Tire and Auto in Shelbyville, Indiana, and I made it... so here's a quick update!

Josh35 has gotten their truck, a black beauty of a Lariat with big towing mirrors and a 6.5 bed.... I keep seeing these and thinking I should have gotten that instead of the shortbed... looks better to me... but, I guess I'll thank myself every time I have to parallel park.

I'm not sure why dmac isn't on the list, they're in our build week, but now I'll add them (however belatedly), though since the truck is already on the lot, expect them to leave the list just as quickly!

Limbo continues for three of us, now held over into a stellar 11th week! Come see it while you still can! (Or don't, it's pretty boring)
