Thank you all for all the help so far. I got my F150 truck. I was ready to place an order for F150 v3.6l powerboost full turbo in antimatter blue with 7.4kw, bed package with ladder and trailer pro connect with Granger in metallic blue with Granger. The Granger cost was $57200 which was 4 pct below invoice. So I did a last ditch search locally and found one in PA (I am in NJ) with all of the above but in addition it has FX4 off-road package and the bed liner coating. After a lot of back and forth over phone I managed to bring them to $58500 which was also 4pct under invoice but still higher than what I wanted to pay but had $1700 worth of additions due to the above two packages. I asked for further reduction and the sales guy said "your presence is your power, come over and we can talk".
So I drove down 90 minutes to PA and after taking the truck for a test drive I loved it. So I asked him about the pricing. He went and consulted with his manager and told me he could drop another $100. I asked him if that was the best because I had driven down all the way based on what he told me and he said that is the best. So I thanked him for his time (he knew about the Granger deal) and told him I am leaving to place the order with Granger since today was the last day and he immediately stopped me and said he will talk to his manager. His manager came running around and told me he will drop another $500 and I can have it for $58000. This was only $800 over the Granger package and offered the above two additions in addition to being 5pct below invoice. So I pulled the trigger, financed it at 7pct and got it home. I will be paying it off in the next month. With registration, title, taxes, NJ fees it came to about $63300 out of the door.
By the way the finance person came down to $1500 for 8 years extended warranty and I declined since I did not research it. Can I get it somewhere else for equivalent? And he also offered several prepaid services for vehicle maintenance which also I declined. Should I have purchased any?
