I like the grill lights as well!! Thinking about adding those as well. Did you connect those also to the headlights or did you wire them to the auxiliary switches?

Love it; does it look OEM? I'm thinking of this too. did you stick leds on outside (per F150LED instruction), or behind, requiring removal of vent? Edit: I see you replied elsewhere, that you installed inside vent. Any difficulty removing them?Just wired up my ambient side vent lighting. Terrible instructions for F150Leds, they had no instructions for the led headlamp wiring. Thankfully I found a guy on here with the proper wiring colors. See attached.![]()

The adaptors are just plastic clips that clamp into the wires without stripping or cutting any wire. However, they are very cheap adaptors / clips. I stripped a small piece of insulation and soldiered the wires together so that won't short out. Yes, you have to do each side - not THAT big of a deal.I am dying to do this but reluctant to tap into any wire. There are adapters, but they say (F150LEDS) that I can't connect both sides in line with one adapter to one side, I'll have to connect each vent's light to its correspondent head light and I refuse to pay for two adapters. Don't understand why I cannot connect both of them in line to just one head light with one adapter.
The lights look great. I'm in the process of doing the same but I have a question or two.
1. Has anyone had any lighting issues after installing the side vent lights?
2. I have a 2022 Plat Powerboost with led headlights. All lights are contained in one assembly. There is an amber side marker on each assembly that doesn't light up on either side and I was wondering if this is by design or if yours light up.
I just followed the instructions so they are on all the time. Maybe check available fuses and tap into one of them? 100/101 are headlamps, not sure if that would include drl, would have to testFor those of you that installed their side vent lights according to the instructions from f150leds, do your vent lights stay on all the time or only at night? I was hoping to wire them so they only come on in the dark with the lights
Hummm, you're "dying to do this" but only want to do it with one adaptor? The adaptors (both of them) come with the lights so I'm not sure what the problem is. You're not paying for two adaptors. Just do both sides and you'll be happy. If you can do one side, you can do the other. It's not hard and not any more expensive.I am dying to do this but reluctant to tap into any wire.
