Bed Lighting Wiring Diagram.

I have a 21 xlt with bed Lighting, which I like. I decided I wanted to add more light so I can see in the back with the cover on.

I bought the f150led bedihhting kit, but their instructions are for connecting a different way than I want to. I want to piggy back off of the bed Lighting button so they function with the stock ones.

Does anyone have the wiring diagram for this? I took the the tails off to look but want to know which one is which

I was told somewhere on this forum if you add bed lights by piggy backing off the existing bed lighting it will cause and error message with the increased volt/wattage (I am not an electrician) and be an issue. I added bed lights by running a 12VT power line directly from the battery.

Were you adding a larger light? I think I’m only adding 12w and I’ve seen others do it. Now you have me second guessing ? ?
